The Sumo wrestler is Asoshoriyu. He is the man in Japanese Sumo and he is also Mongolian. I saw him in action and he was a bad mother.....(Shut your mouth!)
I'm just talkin' bout Asoshoriyu!
(We can dig it!)

Kanji are based on the Chinese writing system, often still unmodified. It'd be interesting to know exactly where they were carved since the Japanese characters use the old unsimplified characters which are 90% used outside China now (Except for Singapore) but now rarer within it (Except on old signage and in some smaller towns).

You're probably right; it's not that distinct to me.

Hehehe... sorry, I just finished a year of Global History and Geography, and my teacher loved to rant about the great achievements of the Muslim world. This is one of them, apparently. It's a really beautiful building.

"One of them appears to depict a mosque, but at least none of them says, Death to America."
I believe it's the Taj Mahal, which is a palace not a mosque but I may be wrong.
To: beaver fever
It's actually a tomb, for the wife of a 17th century Muslim prince. As far as I know, it is not used as a mosque.
