For 5 months 'I stayed in the box'
As a Marine Corps officer, I spent five years and five months in a prisoner of war camp in North Vietnam. I believe this gives me a benchmark against which to measure the treatment which Sen. Richard Durbin, Illinois Democrat, complained of at the Camp of Detention for Islamo-fascists at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

Durbin is a traitor...period....and should be arrested!!
I had the privilege of hearing Mr. Warner speak at the "Kerry Lied" rally in DC last September. He does not suffer traitors gladly.
He was also interviewed for the documentary "Stolen Honor". Clips here (his is the last one):

bump
Not to belittle this man's experience, but I think whoever impregnated Hillary should at least get honorable mention.
Can this article be copied and e-mailed to the TurbanDurbin? Is it legal and all?
Hero's bump.
It wont do any good (to many dead people still vote in Chicago) but it makes me feel better.
Letter to an illinois newspaper, Naperville SUN
Senator Durbin comments boardering on treason
I have just returned from a hunting trip where cell phones dont work and where TV and mainstream media trappings do not exist.
I was appalled to see and hear that our Senator Durbin from Illinois was abusing our men and women in the military with his acid comments about Guantanamo. Senator Durbins comparison of our military procedures detaining enemy combatants to methods used by Pol Pot, Hitler, and Soviet goologs where millions of souls were exterminated is outrageous. Those held at Gitmo are not soldiers; they are terrorists killers of men, women, and children for a extreme religious cause. Have we forgotten we are at war with terrorism?
Our 100% volunteer military deserve better than to be denigrated by a politician who uses our troops as a political stepping stone for more power. Senator Durbin says he respects our troops, however, says one thing to our local citizens, but on the floor of the United States Senate says coddles the terrorists of war. What is interesting is this is the second time (Feb 2005) Senator Durbin has used the same FBI email memo.
Imagine what 61 Illinois families, whose sons and daughters have died fighting terrorism for the cause of freedom for millions of Americans in Iraq and Afghanistan, thought when hearing what Senator Durbin said!!! Senator Durbins comments are beyond the pale. Senator Durbin owes these 61 Illinois family a letter of apology!
Our soldiers are digging these terrorists out of rat holes to put them in prison, risking their lives in doing so. Senator Durbin is coddling these terrorists, fanning the flame of anti-American hatred, telling the American people these terrorists deserve better treatment. Three squares a day, showers, home-cooked meals, religious music piped into their compounds; and Senator Durbin says the American military is just like Pol Pot and Hitler. Sorry. Wrong!
Is Senator Durbin drunk with power? Bordering on treason aiding the enemy as the foreign press hammer American values with this comments? It is time for Illinois voters to realize Senator Durbin is no friend of our troops, our veterans. Senator Durbin has been in politics for 20 years and the state of Illinois is near the bottom in Veterans benefits received in our state.
It is time Illinois citizens refuse to vote for Senator Durbin in the next election.
Its legal and ok to verbally call to task a politicans decsions. You can not threat, or make threats.
Durbin is a traitor and a scumbag, on the same level as Hanoi Jane Fonda, and John F'n Kerry.
Whoa!
If I ever have the opportunity to meet Kerry face to face I plan the following:
Drop my pants to my ankles ..salute and say "seaman 3rd class Bill Clinton reporting for duty!"
