Seem the opinions of the Old Grey Lady depend solely on which political party occupies the White House.

Actually, the implication is that the CIA should not be used, the military is a better option. That is what the editorial is proposing.

I agree with you completely but as Rush would say..."I know these liberals like the back of my formerly nicotine stained hands."

'The paper of record' needs to be changed to 'The paper of hypocrites and liars'.

The left wing maggots keep forgetting about how easy it is for us to do searches on the internet.

I know I spammed the threads yesterday with my posts about the connections between Iraq and AQ, but it was amazing how many people had not seen those connections before.

And so, for those who haven't seen it, this is a very long list of connections between Iraq and AQ and OBL:

Frightening how the MSM can change history in a matter of 2 years.

But it is getting more difficult for them to attempt to do it!

We probably need to improve our technology though...

If only our conservative press forums would take the MSM serious and try to defeat them.

They, like Rush, should be repeating these editorials, and news stories of the 90's, everyday.

Any effort to try and rewrite the 90's, (in order to convince the public that their CIC is a liar), should be fought, vigorously and consistently.

Did you read Abe Rosethals NYT l998 editorial posted here today?

He calls for Saddams removal.

The debate about what to do with Iraq was a good one.

But the issue with me is the MSM implication that Bush lied, and woke up one morning deciding on Iraq with NO reason, or greedy reasons, or anything but what he felt was in our security interests.

It is now the lost decade of the 90's, and the MSM will not talk about that decade. And pretend that Saddam and Sons were innocent, just SOBs.

Instead they continue their defamation campaign against a US Pres, our troops, and our WOT.

And from the keyword iraqhistory..... bit of a tangent but interesting:

"Shocking and awful" (recalls when Churchill became "fed up" with Iraq occupation)

See # 323, for some potent memories.

This was all before Israel was created and all before a drop of oil was ever taken out of the ground in Arabia.

Yep, they want to complain nothing is being done, but God forbid someone actually does something. Typical Lib, complain, whine and point fingers but never do anything. Dysfunctional.

Thanks for finding and posting.

I'm just sitting here, sputtering in disgust. I hardly know what to say. If I were to write a letter to the editor of the NYTimes, referencing this editorial, I'd bet the chances of it being printed would be ZERO.

It is quite simply a case of DemocRAT war - good, Republican war, BAD.

Backhoe, something for your files here?

Thanks for this interesting NYT article from way back. Yet another piece of ammo to print out to show some looney tune demorat, or otherwise why GWB did not take us to war because he is a cowboy. At least our side can proudly say we do not deal in propaganda, just facts. Let the otherside choose to be what the good Lord turned the serpent into way back when in the garden of eden.
