The lesson of 9-11, of course, was that even without WMD, without missiles to deliver the payload, we could be hit and hit hard by someone who wished to do so, and that someone could easily remain anonymous. Not only do those on the Left not grasp this obvious lesson, they insist that we ignore the implications.
I remain convinced that the reason we all seemed to be together on that day is because we were all afraid. For those of us on the right, our fear turned to anger, and those on the left, realizing that American capitalism had been the target, harbored no anger in their hearts, thus the split to where we are today.
Clinton is SURELY ordered that the FBI refuse the affidavits Jayna tried to deliver to their doorstep DURING the Oklahoma Bombing fiasco.
Wonder what Clinton and his dirty mob of trailer trash advisors think about when they see the memorial chairs in Okla...especially the ones with childrens' names written upon them?

You're almost right. Clinton for sure did not want to provoke a public outcry for war with Iraq or an investigation by the new Republican Congress into how his Administration allowed ME terrorists into the country. But the larger reason he covered this up was that it was so incredibly useful for him to pin the whole thing on Tim McVeigh and Terry Nichols. They were apprehended so fast, and had ties to the militia movement and other right-wing groups that were manna from heaven for an embattled president. It was easy for the ultra-political White House to see that they had just been handed a huge gift, but it would all be messed up if it could be traced back to Iraq. The public would have seen the connection between the first World Trade Center bombing and Oklahoma City, and blamed Clinton for not doing enough after the WTC bombing to root out foreign terrorists. He would have been toast in 1996. So they stopped the FBI from investigating any ME connection. The coverup of the Oklahoma City bombing saved Clinton's presidency.

I must be unable to read and/or must be quite dense. Can anyone point to anything Nichols said in his conversation with Rohrabacher to supports Jayna's theory? What I got was that Nichols said nothing to contradict the theory (which is true because Nichols said nothing). That's a far cry from supporting her theory, though.
There is still a terrorist cell in Oklahoma City as well as many other cities.

If people knew the truth about OKC, they support for the war in Iraq would go through the roof. Democrats just can't have that.
I'd guess that OKC was just too juicy an opportunity for partisan political advantage for Bubba and the Rats, especially at a point when the Republicans had just taken over both houses of Congress for the first time in 40 years. Recall how Clinton and his spin machine implied that everyone from Gingrich to Limbaugh was responsible for the "far right wing" terrorism at OKC. If it had come to light that it was really Saddam behind OKC, Clinton and the Rats would have been sunk permanently. Hence, the cover-up.
Clinton had one face for terrorists.
Christian, white, blowing up abortion clinics.
Anything that didn't fit the profile got handled like jay walking.

The Congressman's heart is in the right place, but Nichols has zero incentive to name names now. In fact, he has a definite disincentive, since prisons, both inmates and probably guards, have muzzies among them.
The time to pursue this was when the gov't. had something to offer, during the investigation and prosecution.
Now we're starting to see why McVeigh had the speediest execution since the 19th century.

Why did we go to war against the Serbian people? As Cliff Kincaid of Accuracy in Media wrote on Feb. 19, "Clinton went to war on behalf of the Muslims, in Bosnia and then Kosovo. He wanted to appease the powerful Arab/Muslim bloc of nations and the Europeans who wanted to call the shots on U.S. foreign policy."
However, according to Rohrabacher, Nichols said "he thought other people [beyond Nichols and Timothy McVeigh] were involved" in the Oklahoma City bombing.
