I have to admit I never even thought of that idea. But what about the name. I had to look him up because I thought you were pulling my leg. Well, his record from the website looks pretty good. Is there somebody good in Idaho to replace him? I would hate to lose the next election because we appointed a weak candidate.
I think the junior senator from Idaho pronounces his name "cray-poe." So that doesn't sound so bad. ;-)
Another senator Reid suggested as a justice is Lindsey Graham. Maybe it would be a good idea to get him out of the Senate!
Btw, does anyone know where I can find the roll call votes on Supreme Court confirmations? I would be interested in knowing which handful of senators had the good sense to vote NO on Souter, Ginsburg, and Breyer.
