Just read a very interesting mystery novel, they can tell from analyzing the strontium in your teeth and bones where you grew up, and were you lived for the last few years of your life.

Kathy Reichs was the author, pretty good read. Fair warning: it takes place in Quebec!

My latest favorite human migoratory map is based on the DNA studies of Professor Stephen Oppenheimer. Click on it below, you'll like it, it's an excellent map.
Notice that he shows a human entrance into the Americas at 25,000 years ago to Meadowcroftand then they become isolated during the Last Glacial Maximum(LGM)

I'm AB+ and my mom was AB-. My grandfather, an immigrant escaping persecution and barely literate, is believed to be from western Asia. It certainly fits this model. Thanks for info, it's interesting reading.

Where exactly did your AB mother live in Ireland? I'm AB-, my mother's family came from Ireland but I don't know which county and have no clue where to start looking. Thanks!

I looked at the linked maps and cannot see ABs in Ireland at all.

Mom, very British was O-, Dad mostly Scotch Iris was A+. As a teenager I can remember them testing my blood repeatedly because the results weren't consistent. In the end, my oldest sister (much older), and an RN told me DO NOT EVER LET THEM GIVE YOU type B blood, regardless of what their blood tests say. I noticed my driver's license says I am B+, but my hospital records list me as "plasma only, universal donor type" and the Bloodmobile shuns me. I need to call sis and figure it out - never thought of it before.

Kids are both B+ as was there father, who was Blackfoot.
