Yes, It's true. He was a true-to-form-lib. Drove a car that no one ever heard of, Thought he was intellectually superior to just about anyone (a lot of officers are like that, though), was more interested in showing concern for a problem than actually doing something to fix it, and (IMHO) was educated far beyond his intelligence............

Here in NC, we had a couple claiming a burning in Winston-Salem. Some suspect the culprits are the owners, since the all black neighborhood is unlikely to have missed a couple of white guys hauling a cross and gasoline around.
This could simply be a copycat looking for "monitary sympathy".
