btw, do you know that the security she is receiving in Africa costs significantly more than it does here, and if not, should President's daughters not be given security at the taxpayer's (i.e. your) expense? Or should the President's daughters never go to a dangerous place in the U.S. because of security concerns? (Jenna is teaching in inner city DC.........should she not do that either?)
Oh, yeah...........and any comparison with Chelsea doesn't hold up. She never did anything to help another human being in her life. There's a big difference.

The President is the elected official and the First Lady by extension....in times like this the 'consideration' enjoyed by the President and First Lady need not extend to the rest of the family... the risk and expense are enormous in any case and worse in time of war. That is my view on it and if you would like to make more of it than the simple observation that it is, you are welcome to do so. No need for hostility. I AM permitted my observations, thanks.
Do you know if security costs are higher for Barbara than they are for Jenna (I don't), and do you believe that neither of them should do what they feel they ought to do with their lives because of the expense to you?
Are President's daughters limited in their legitimate goals because it costs you money? In your view, that is?
