I really wish there had been a different outcome to this matter, because no one knows what her wishes would have been at this point in time, since she left nothing in writing.

I have discussed with case with others, and they are people I do not necessarily agree with on most political matters. And here is what do we agree on in this case:

Michale S should have removed removed as her legal guardian. Neither Gov Bush nor anyone else could "cancel" Terri's marriage to her husband, despite the fact Terri's wishes were unknown, her parents were alive and wanted to care for her, and Michael S had started a new family with another woman.

In light of all this, we wish a new law could be created to enable the parents of an adult married child to file for divorce when that adult child spouse can not file for divorce.

There was nothing Gov Bush could do to cancel this marriage and remove Michael S from being her legal guardian, but I honestly think that a new law should allow parents to care for their adult children when the adult child spouse is unable to express their wishes.

To me, and others, such a new law would just be common sense, and prevent this kind of tragedy, pain and suffering from happening again in the future.

Everyone should realize that nothing of substance regarding the murder of Terri rested on the hypothesis that Michael caused her injury 15 years ago. He murdered her, with assistance of the legal profession, last March. How Terri had gotten in her state is just as irrelevant as what precisely that state was medically.

And Lyndon Baynes Johnson avoided a prison term because Chief Justice Earl Warren, John McCoy, Sr, and the rest of the members of the Warren Commission decided that that guy shot himself 12 times in the back of the head with a shotgun.

So help me law.

The thread's added eadline in brackets is a lie. The officals only found that they would be unable to determine whether Micheal did or did not act to cause his wife's injuries. They did NOT determine that he did not cause them. I have reported the headline as abuse.

Who is Governor Jeb Bush? Isn't he the former governor of Florida? Wasn't he succeeded by the new Governor, George W. Greer?

Yeah, that's the one.

Nice job Jeb. Now GTFO.

McCabe: " Michael, did you hit your wife and cause this?"

Michael: " Absolutely not! I loved Terri!!"

McCabe: " Governor, he is innocent. He SAYS he didn't do it".

Governor Bush: " Well then, if MS says he didn't do it, that is good enough for me"!!!!

DUH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No, he didn't cause her collapse. But he did cause her death when he had her dehydrated and starved to death 15 years later.

Parents whould have no rights over a spouse.Parental rights end after marriage. There has been more than one marriage ruined because parents believe they still have control over their children and lobby against a spouse until their child gives in. Parents need to stay the hell out of marriages and do not have rights over a spouse and never should.

That said, everything the Terri supporters have said have been proven to be false but you people still won't give it up. Mike had to be the villan. How do you know she didn't want to die? How do you know that her soul was waiting to be free. It was waiting in limbo to be set loose and only needed the body to die to accomplish this.

She had no life. Do you call laying in bed not being able to discern what was happening, who was with you, what they were saying to be life?

How would her parents beserved if they had Terri home with them now? Would they be able to talk to her, carry on a decent conversation, interact with her? No...we all know that answer to these questions is no. Terri was not alive, not in the strictest sense, not in the sense she enjoyed life.

All of you people think you are for Terri when in reality you are the ones who would have hurt her the most if you had won and she was still alive.

Go ahead and flame me, but you are the ones who should be ashamed, tearing down a good man with your lies and vicious self righteousness.

You proposed law would destroy the union when parents go after alimony due upon the divorce. There would be folks killing estranged daughters to file for divorce and collect their newly gained legacy.

The Schindlers are NEVER going to get Justice For Terri in the State of Florida. Too many Florida authorities made too many mistakes in her case and they don't want to be exposed.

I was hoping Fuhrman's book might help in that regard. It looks as though it won't, at least NOT at the state level.

I don't know what it is about Terri' case. It's as though we have gone back in time and are not permitted to change the future. No matter what anyone attempts it ends up the same way.

Regardless. There are some issues that are too important to let go. This is one of them.

Ladies and gentlemen: The Emperor is not wearing any clothes.

There was no investigation. They said so. They didn't learn anything new. They said so. There were no findings. Yet here we have all the liberals running around drawing grandiose conclusions from... from thin air. There were no findings to draw conclusions from.

Hilarious!

The St. Petersburg Times had better send its writers to Remedial English and Remedial Logic.

Needless to say, the headline is untrue. What McCabe actually claims is that there is nothing to be learned after all these years. Therefore, no investigation could possibly find Michael Schiavo guilty or not guilty. You can't conclude something from nothing.

In light of all this, we wish a new law could be created to enable the parents of an adult married child to file for divorce when that adult child spouse can not file for divorce.

You gotta be kidding! Don't get along with your in-laws? Don't get sick!
