The dependence upon oil is wedded to the Left's wackos vetoing any real alternatives.

Nuclear? Horrors!

Coal gasification or coal fired plants? Heavens to murgatroyd; NO!

Drill for more natural gas? Not in MY preserve!

Import it to offshore terminals, then? ACK! (Or should that be Great Auk?)

Build wind farms...but don't kill any birds, or put it in MY shoal waters!

And the list of their NIMBY hypocrisy goes on...but IT'S BUSH'S FAULT!

Yet a hurricane rolls through the Gulf of Mexico and the price of gasoline spikes due to supply disruptions. Meanwhile the NIMBY's have managed to get the oil rigs on the west coast removed.

For the sake of our economic security it's time to tell the NIMBY's to pack sand and DRILL, DRILL, DRILL!!!.

Every penny that stays here is one that doesn't prop up a royal family or tyrant in the middle east. DRILL BABY!!!
