This is very scary. Someone I know who works in a non profit org., similar to the UN, is amazed at the influence the Chinese are having on American based and International organizations of influence.

Very interesting. It amazes me that some of my coworkers cannot see the difference between a National Government buying a strategic asset vs. the purchase of the asset by another publicly held company. We're in the energy business and even my coworkers are blind to the problems Unocal may cause down the road. If China decides that the commodity market is not the way to go to purchase restricted natural resources and pulls the commodities off the market (Venezuela, Canadian oil sand, Unocal assets) who would be in a position to enforce that trade law? France? The UN? Russia? No one.

I won't even bother discussing the rare mineral mine. That is absolutely ludicrous. I'm wondering if all the great think tanks, CIA, NSA, etc., know what the heck they are doing?

America has no such covenant with God...however,we do (at least for a time) have something much better..the freedom to worship God and His Son...as we choose.

If this is ever made illegal..then I believe God will wash His hands of America and if He lets her go...then she is gone forever.

The solution does not involve pointing out how our enemies have surrounded us...our true worst enemies are within us and those who seek to prevent and interfere with us from enjoying a saving relationship with Jesus Christ.

America only exists because of Christ..and can only be preserved by Him and His favor
