Israel is giving Bush and Blair time to get a democratic Iraq up and running. We've already seen positive signs with other Arab states, Syria pulling out of Lebanon, (almost), Lybia, etc., but nothing is simple with people who lie, cheat and steal like breathing. Iran's the big problem, of course, revving up nukes and missiles as fast as they can. Israel won't give up the right to defend itself, and if they have to, by preemptive attack. At that point they should tell Bush and Blair to take a flying leap.

I tell you, this is a little off topic but... it occurred to me today that we may be looking at another big pub pickup in 06. I think joe six-pack continues to tune out the leninist media in droves, and anyone with a brain can see that we need to be pouring on the coals in the war on terror, not steady as she goes, and that the gitmo thing is just stupid. People know the commie ass-rats are soft on defense, and that this crop of republicans aren't tough enough, far from it. So there is a strong possibility that the country takes yet another hard lurch to the RIGHT, and continues to lurch to the right until Washington gets the message. Finish the job.

No guarantees, we shall see, but I'd breathe yet another sigh of relief if that happened. Then be disappointed yet again, I'm sure.

Its a bit disheartening to see people think of Israel as "once saved, always saved" when its clear what most Jews in Israel think of Jesus..that he is NOT the son of God. Yet you prescribe salvation because of the genetic sequence in their DNA (i.e. Jewishness)?!

The Islamist terrorists are happy when innocents die. Its too bad Europe hears no evil, sees no evil, and finds no evil from the mouths of Hamas spokesmen.
