Well, while the democrats are in a lather about this, Bush ought to spring his USSC nominee on them (a real conservative like John Ashcroft). Maybe it would be enough to cause a few heart attacks amongst those liberal losers and then they'd have to be replaced in their useless positions as obstructionists and liars!!!

"intentional disclosure of a covert agent's identity"
Rove didn't "disclose" any "agent's identity". Novak disclosed her name - and even he says it was public knowledge.
This is just another attempt by the dems to make themselves look good after all the horrible things they have been saying about Bush and our troops.
And .. whichever lawmaker made that ridiculous statement is probably one of Hillary's goons.

It was known that she was CIA. It may not have been known that she was covert, but it doesn't matter - Rove never told anyone she was covert.

LOL, I was thinking a similar thing. There's a little blood in the water and the dems are going nuts over it. It's about time that GWB blind-sides the dems..... again. I love it when this happens. It's pure joy to watch the dems at work realize they were bested by a so called "dummy."
To: Pikamax
Waaaaaah, Bush never admitted to making a mistake and
now he won't even fire Rove without cause. Waaaaaah!
Watch your step, George, the liberals are up to their trix!

"The president should immediately suspend Karl Rove's security clearances and shut him down by shutting him out of classified meetings or discussions," said Sen. Frank Lautenberg, a New Jersey Democrat. Sandy Berger to the courtesy phone, please...
This from the party that ran a proven traitor for the Presidency? Mr. Pot, meet Mr. Kettle...

Podhertz in the NY Post tomorrow will quote Wilson's 1993 interview in which WILSON revealed his wife's CIA employment.
NBC's Andrea Mitchell on Sunday also stated that Plame worked for the CIA in some sort of administrative capacity was well known by D.C. insiders. I read that somewhere Sunday evening, but I cannot recall or find where. In any case, watch for Podhertz's article in the NY Post tomorrow.

Meanwhile, Bob Woodward is telling the Dems to back off. he know something, is trying to help, but they ain't listening.

Thanks. That kinda closes the book on this for me--unless DUmmies want to start making talking to reporters on background against the law.

Would make more sense for Time to fire Cooper and the Times to fire Miller.
To: ex-snook
Rove was not involved. All he did was answer a question about a trip and who arranged it. No mention of the Plame name came up. This is BS and was debunked several days ago, but of course the Dems act as if they don't know this.

IOW the democrats and the NYT are in collusion.
This is a non-story. Only the inside the beltway types are under the delusion this story matters to anyone.
MSM yellow journalism at its finest.
Democrats, anti-american to the bone.
To: Pikamax
Would this be anything like a pledge to grant every judicial nominee a vote? <"The president should immediately suspend Karl Rove's security clearances and shut him down by shutting him out of classified meetings or discussions," said Sen. Frank Lautenberg, a New Jersey Democrat.> Too bad Lautenberg didn't share this sentiment with Hillary Clinton's illicit access of two thousand FBI files. <"It is time for the President to keep his word. Karl Rove should be fired and prosecuted to the full extent of the law," said Rep. Louise Slaughter of New York.> Guilty until proven innocent? Stalin would be proud.
