Coast to Coast Announcement: Al Qaeda Smuggling Nukes into U.S. ?

Tonight on Coast to Coast, author Paul L. Williams will be discussing the possibility that al Qaeda may have smuggled suitcase nukes into the U.S. The interview will be broadcast between 10:00 pm and 12:00 midnight.

Coast2Coast Web Site

This investigative broadcast was inspired by the World Net Daily report of two days ago. That report claimed that Al Qaeda used our open borders and violent drug gangs to smuggle suitcase nukes into the U.S.

Report: Al Qaeda Nukes Already in U.S.

In his acclaimed exposé, Osama’s Revenge: The Next 9/11, terrorism expert Paul L. Williams revealed the likelihood of nuclear terrorism on American soil. Now in this chilling sequel Williams further explores the shocking dimensions of the international terrorist threat to Americans. Williams reveals persuasive evidence that al Qaeda has now established connections with the Sicilian Mafia, which is helping to finance terrorism through the sale of Number Four heroin, the present drug of choice in Europe and the United States.

In addition, through its ties to the Chechen Mafia, the group responsible for the heinous attack on a Russian school, al Qaeda has managed to obtain nuclear weapons from poorly secured and carelessly guarded storehouses in Russia.

Perhaps the most disturbing evidence uncovered by Williams is the relation of al Qaeda to an obscure Salvadoran street gang, which calls itself Mara Salvatrucha and has expanded exponentially. In exchange for big money, this violent group of anarchic thugs has smuggled weapons of mass destruction and sleeper agents across the Mexican border onto American soil, or what they refer to as the land of the "Great Satan."

No other book deals with the connection between international, extremist Islamic terrorism and organized crime—a connection that has made possible the establishment of a well-financed branch of al Qaeda in Latin America and the creation of terrorist cells in major metropolitan areas throughout the United States.

Williams convincingly demonstrates that by means of this network Bin Laden is now in a position to execute his dream of an American Hiroshima, an apocalyptic act of mass murder within the borders of the United States. Though vigorously working to prevent such an attack, many military experts and security officials concede the probability of nuclear terrorism in America, perhaps in the immediate future.

Evidently at least a couple of high level Soviet defectors disagree with you.

It was the flakey, fringe groups

WHO FIRST AND MOST ACCURATELY PREDICTED WHAT SORT OF CREATURE HITLER WAS AND WHAT HE WOULD DO.

I agree with you.

k. if you had a suitcase nuke to sell, are you really going to sell the thing armed? Or would you take the triggering device out and sell it to the highest bidder? What are they going to do test it first? Every satalite sensor would light up like Grizwalds house. I think if they were here they would have used them because they had lost afganistan and iraq.

Am not at all surprised.

However, don't expect folks hereon to be bothered by such facts.

They REALLY KNOW THE TRUEST TRUE TRUH--i.e. their own assumptions because THEY SAY SO.

No. Maybe when I take my shower and possibly when I finish my evening Bible reading.

One has to filter out a lot of chaff and put a lot more on the shelf to see what falls off.

But I'm a strong believer in keeping tabs on what fringe groups and individuals are saying. My boss stunned me with his expert knowledge about how accurate the fringe groups were and how early they were in their predictions about Hitler. He's the world's expert on the topic.

It seems that for some paradoxical reason, EVEN FREEPERS would rather believe the MAIN STREAM MEDIA on such topics.

On some of the topics on C to C, there's just to much smoke from too many diverse sources for there to be absolutely 0.0000000000000% to it at all.

On other topics--satan must be pleased at all the deception.

I think Noory does an admirable job. He's not totally wimpy at all though he's typically quite charitable to any guest as I'd want to be toward my guests.

But he can ask some good questions on occasion.

worst scams

You got that right.

The Soviets had backpack/suitcase nukes prepositioned in the USA since the mid-1970s

He got that wrong. The US had a roughly similar system, the Small (and Special) Atomic Demolition Munitions, from the 1950s through the 1980s. We gave up on it because it was a bad idea. The weapon was very low yield and could (barely) be carried by one strong man. Cruise missiles made these weapons obsolete.

As far as the Soviets are concerned, anybody who thinks the Sovs lost track of nuke one needs to hit some books on how the evil empire maintained its nukes. The military didn't even have control of them -- the KGB, which passed down intact to the FSB and similar services in the other Republics, had them. One reason the Soviets were always fearing that we would do a first strike, is that they might have suffered nuclear decapitation.

As far as terrorists getting such a weapon from Iran or Pakistan -- Muslims are crazy enough to try. Viz. Abdul Qadeer Khan. But -- making a small nuke is significantly harder than making a big one. To be man-portable it needs to be an extremely small nuke. Even assuming they blew off shielding (bad idea with Pu-239, even if your guy is a suicide you want him to last long enough to emplace the weapon) it's still a heavy, bulky thing.

And do not assume that the hostiles could move a radioactive weapon through the borders and through the nation with the ease they move conventional explosives.

people act like terrorists are stupid or something.

These people kill themselves because some guy, who himself only has sex with goats or little boys, promises them imaginary virgins. Stupid is as stupid does.

they know they need to get in the air, its not that hard to do.

It is with anything that (1) they can get hold of and (2) they can do any harm/cause panic with. If they had to they could use an ultralight. not many restrictions and very cheap.

Limited in weight-lifting capacity and range. Can't lift a nuke made by a nonsophisticated power. Easily detected/high signature/easily interdicted. You basically have to launch it from where you need to be.

Come to think of it, terrorists might try it. It is a stupid idea.

Yea, and they also are willing to get a degree in order to find a way to kill as many people as possible.

Suitcase nuke weighs less than 80lbs. 130lbs terrorist 80lbs bomb , sure it can carry a 210lb man.

Many of the tactical nukes don't have the PALs you are talking about...

I wouldn't be so confident.

I'm not so much worried about a suitcase nuke... But, a real nuke could easily be smuggled into the country, VIA Mexico. The NAFTA rules on trucks are very lax and i'm sure a tanker's could be modified to house a nuke inside in the center, then shielf the nuke with lead, and fill the rest of the tanker with whater substance you want... drive it to the border and the customs would let it though... IF they started a truck company and did this to say 20-30 tankers. Its over.

Great looking Ultralight there Echo! Amazing. Nice color scheme, too.

Perhaps 'Criminal Number 18F' might want to buy a Snoopy costume and play Red Baron dog fighting games with it?

I have been listening to Coast2Coast since the program started tonight . . .

The guest, Paul L. Williams, really knows his stuff. He has excellent credentials. Freepers are free to make up their own minds.

But, frankly, I believe it is a federal crime that our borders are still wide open after 9-11. If there is terror another attack on the U.S., and if it is proven the terrorists entered from Mexico, the American people will be really torked off about it.
