Why would Bush want to put a moderate in there and get the same thing he has been B*TCHING about for 4 years?

See doc30's post in #17. The tacit assumption of Morris' prediction is that Mr. Bush is not really a conservative, but pays lip service only to conservative values. There are solid rebuttals to this, but overall, I agree with doc30 and that assumption. We could each go down our respective lists of conservative versus non-conservative, but it would serve no purpose, other than an argument.

To answer your question, I would ask you one: why would Bush want to put a moderate in the AG position?

Bush doesn't care. He isn't up for re-election. He has shown he doesn't care for America

Not sure on that one, for whatever reason Dubya befriended him and as we all know, he is furiously loyal. Better at AG where he doesn't decide such things.
