He was awarded Comdr. Order of Equatorial Star By Gabon. Maybe the Jag parked in his driveway was the "prize."
I was suspicious when I read he had a Rolex and a Benz. But a Rolex and a Jag? I should have gone into government service.
Next we will hear how he purchased the high price items at government autions.

I am doubtful that LeHane was not advised, coached, or covertly instructed if he is the supposed "mastermind". Rockey's memo, seems to be the method of operation that this all falls under. The CIA operatives would have needed cover from elected officials (Congress).

I was travelling last week, so I only got a chance to skim the WSJ article about the Volker report, but I thought that the report said that France and Russia were responsible for helping Saddam get rid of some of his WMDs. I could be wrong though. Did you read the article?
