The jihadists that bombed London last week were "radicalized" and recruited at a government-funded youth center. It was well-known as a hub of Islamic activity in Leeds. So the citizens of London got exactly what they paid for - British Islamic terrorists.

Is it any wonder the Brits got what they paid for? This blind and PC perspective is what makes it possible for the British people to fund the recruitment of their own home-grown terrorists! What brilliance. I think it's fair to say that Prince Charles and Tony Blair, by ignoring the gory evidence in their faces, are really nothing more than dhimmis; properly subservient to the singular interests of Islam at the expense of national defense and security (Dhimmitude = One must not point out the depredations of jihad; to do so would offend the multiculturalist ethos that prevails everywhere today.). Blech.
Lest I be accused of kicking Britain while it's down, let me offer some equal-opportunity criticism. We, in America, harbor our own home-grown terrorists in every mosque and every Islamic center - and they are securely protected by our Freedom of Religion. More than 80% of American mosques are under the control of extremists. That number is from January1999 - and is now estimated at 95%, considering the War on Terrorism and all.
Since I can guarantee that several morons will write in to vehemently deny those figures and accuse me of hate-mongering (you know who you are), let me qualify my info by stating my source: Sheikh Muhammad Hisham Kabbani of the Islamic Supreme Council of America. And let me ask those dhimmi-morons why they're not equally vehement in denouncing Muslims for harboring radicals who hate-monger for a living (well - until they commit suicide, that is)?! I don't see ANY Muslim leaders rushing to identify and denounce their so-called minority radicals. None, zero, zip. Why not? Because they don't need to - that whole "if you're not WITH us, you're AGAINST us" line is a bunch of bullshit, especially with Bush going around the world proselytizing about the "Religion of Peace". The transformation of four young British men into terrorists appears to have taken place at a government-funded storefront youth centre in Leeds that, according to youth workers, was a hub of radical Islamist activity.It appears that this modest youth centre is the point where these three young men converged with the fourth bomber and a leading figure who was being sought by police last night.
The centre receives funding from the British government and the European Union, as well as charitable funds, and as such is officially secular and non-political. But in practice, it was neither. On its walls were posters from the Respect Party, an extremist pro-Islamic party founded by MP George Galloway, that showed Israeli soldiers pointing rifles at Palestinian children. When some workers complained about these, they were harassed by other staffers....
"It's fair to say that there was some kind of recruiting going on here," one of the workers said. "Some of the youth workers were really involved with it, and it got to the point where they were acting really hostile to anyone who wasn't their kind of Muslim."
"It had become so radical and so hateful that I asked if I could stop working there," said one of the workers, who along with two others described the storefront drop-in centre as a hub of radical Muslim politics and a hotbed of Islamic organizing, routinely hosting mysterious figures to speak about extremist politics.
Most people here feel that none of the mosques have adopted the highly radical, anti-Western politics that have turned some London houses of worship into Islamist recruiting centres. They say, however, that study groups have formed on the edges of congregations that may teach a much more political form of Islam.
The more religious these Muslims get, the more dangerous they become. Argue about it all you want, but it's the simple truth. The religious fervor of the terrorists is fed by the Q'uran and their promises of eternal rewards. Even the terrorists' own family recognize (in hind-sight, of course), that their sons had gotten more religious recently. Hello, McFly, there's your warning sign...
Family and friends of the young men repeatedly said yesterday that they had seen no indication that they had adopted such influences. Although they had become more devoutly religious and travelled to Pakistan for study trips, it is not uncommon for naturalized children of immigrants in this part of England to become more devout than their secularized parents.
They didn't see it because they're deaf, dumb, and blind to the inevitable extraoplation of their own faith. Anyone who looks can see the deadly result of drawing the tenets of Islam out to their inevitable conclusion. Moderate Muslims are only those who water down their own religion, practice it nominally, and are generally half-ass about Islam as a whole - secularized. Because full-fledged Islam, in all its glory, demands world domination and the full subjugation of other races, religions, and cultures - or else...death. But remember, even Muslim moderates can be turned on a dime - as evidenced by Britain's four formerly moderate/recently radicalized suicide terrorists. 'Moderate' does not necessarily mean 'safe', it only means 'less likely'. That's hardly a rock-solid guarantee.
I guess it just goes to show you that dhimmitude isn't the answer, because the British got a swift kick in the ass for all their strenuous suck-up efforts. Fifty-two people have died because the government didn't want to offend any Muslims. Did they learn the lesson that life as dhimmis doesn't pay? Nope. They commence navel-gazing, while the Muslims continue to recruit, train, and motivate their next crop of terrorists.

I no longer have that respect. Yes, I still like and respect my faculty friends. I e-mail them every New Years. However, I've concluded they're victims of an evil cult. Islam is as bad or worse than Communism was. I now totally sympathize with those Turks who want to secularize their country comletely.
To call Islam an "Abrahamic religion" is ridiculous. It has no more connection with Abraham than does Buddhism. It was made up out of whole cloth, just like the Cao Dai cult in Vietnam. Salman Rushdie might well be right. Some of the Koran verses may have been dictated by Satan.
