**Artificial birth control is generally harmful.**

My wife and I agree.

She was looking over my shoulder as I scanned the threads and insisted I stop so we could read this one.

I've often wondered how many ovarian/breast problems are caused by the pill. Are the hormone/chemical alterations in the woman somewhat absorbed by the man? Is there a possible connection between that and some erectile dysfuction and/or prostate problems?

We are not Catholic, weren't even very religious almost 27 years ago when we got married. My wife refused to take the pill, not trusting the altering of her natural systems. I learned real fast to develop control, and still please her. In doing so, we became very well timed. After a year and a half we decided to try for children. In a couple months she was pregnant. In four years we had 2 boys. Decided that was enough, and have continued our usual method for the past 21 years. She's happy. I'm happy. And we're both healthy. End of story.

What's harmful about condoms? Even if you have a latex allergy and there are non-latex, non-lambskin alternatives.
