Very good points, and thanks for the reminder about the Constitution Party running against Bush instead of Kerry. That really ticked me off too. That was pure political strategy, and not based on principle, at all.
But I dropped out of the Republican party when they increased Title X abortion funding to the tune of 288 million dollars through HR 4818. (Planned Parenthood is funded through this)
See my post # 51 for the link to that info.

Hardy har, har, there humble, wery, wery, wery, funny(comparing me to kim-il insane).
Sheesh you and your merry band of liberals all are a vapant lot, IMO.
Not at all.
Kim Il-Jung would NEVER stoop to blaming a female victim of a 'verbal rape', because she 'wore her skirt too short.'
It's an INSULT to Kim Il-Jung to compare you two.
Of course we know it isn't true, Xena, and it is a very small man who would publicly state such an accusation.
Dane: " Uh my point is that you "defamed" yourself with your vapant innuendo with jmc"
Well. . . first of all, we are not supposed to drag stuff across threads. If you saw something on another thread, that is the place to address it.
Second. . . vapant innuendo with jmc813 - I wanted an example, so I looked over jmc's and Xena's posts back through May. Except for when you dragged Xenalyte onto this thread, I don't see any recent (2 1/2 months!) posts exchanged between them. Is something from way back eating at you?
Ok, Dr. Flyer's take on the big picture. Xenalyte is an intelligent and attractive woman. Some of us here carry on with her in a witty and sometimes risqué manner. I will assume Dane has never been able to be on that level with Xena and is jealous.
It is this jealously that has led Dane to call Xena a slut, and that is improper and downright nasty. Xena is right on target with her anger.
(Dr. Flyer - University of Google, 2005)
Yep, liberal.. that's me alright.
No fooling you, that's for sure.
Well, ta-ta now, I'm off to be tolerant of gays and make sandwiches down at the day-labor hall.
Same sex civil unions = equal freedom between two consenting adults.
Abortion = murder
Unlimited immigration = tyranny of the welfare state and lose of local paying jobs
The status quo of the IRS = economic slavement and lose of privacy at the individual level
Well there is this
(Romans 9:17-18) - "For the Scripture says to Pharaoh, "For this very purpose I raised you up, to demonstrate My power in you, and that My name might be proclaimed throughout the whole earth." 18So then He has mercy on whom He desires, and He hardens whom He desires."
Non of this mind you makes homosexuality any less sinful or the ordination of unapologetic sinners to lead your Church any less shameful..
I replied how some Republicans would equate these subjects.
Fair enough, no argument there.
My definitions are somewhat differant.
But thanks for the clarification.
Regards

Oh I get it now. It is ok for Flyer to banter with Xena with suggestive innuendo, and it is ok for Xena to revel in that, but if Dane(using the third person for conversation sake) makes a comment about Xena's innuendo, he is to be tarred and feathered and considered a misongynist.
JMO, Flyer, your analogy is akin to a homosexual parading and sashaying down the street with a literal sign that says fag, but if anyone else calls him a fag, that person automatically becomes a homophobe.
Gee isn't PCism fun.
There are still living Episcopalians? They've been an endangered and ever-shrinking species for 100 years.
After a lifetime in "the ministry," I don't think the contradiction has occurred to him yet.
Oh well when you don't have any thoughts to put into words to argue, rely on the standby of lame picture ad hominems.
