BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- The owner of a modeling agency was charged Friday with sexually assaulting three teenagers, including a 14-year-old who police said was raped while he claimed to be giving her an abortion.
Michael Britt, 42, was arrested Thursday at the agency, Model World Enterprises in Bridgeport. He was ordered held on $200,000 bond Friday and charged with first-degree sexual assault, second-degree sexual assault, fourth-degree sexual assault and risk of injury to a minor.
"Everything is untrue. That's my father. He would never do anything like that to hurt anybody. He's a churchgoing man," said a woman in the courtroom who identified herself as his daughter, Lachelle Britt.
Police said three Norwalk teens reported the assaults in April. According to the Connecticut Post, a 14-year-old girl told police that she went to Britt because she was pregnant and was afraid her modeling career would suffer. Police said Britt took the girl to a nearby abortion clinic, claiming to be a part-owner, and conducted what he told her was a gynecological exam. Police said he later brought her back to the clinic and had intercourse with her while claiming to be performing an abortion, the Post reported Friday.
The administrator for the clinic, Summit Women's Center, said Britt was a janitor at the facility. She did not know how long he had been employed there.
"We're cooperating with law enforcement, and when all the facts are in, we'll act accordingly," said Tanya Little, the administrator.
No one answered the door at the modeling agency.
Police told the newspaper that in another case, an 18-year-old woman complained that Britt said she needed to learn a new walking technique to be a model. Police said he asked her to remove her clothes and had intercourse with her to teach her the technique, telling her, "this is what it takes to be a model."
Police seized computers from the agency and want to find out how many models Britt represented. They're also trying to determine if the modeling business is legitimate, said Bridgeport Police Capt. Lynn Kerwin.
"He has business cards and a Web site that would give you no indication that it's anything other than what it's purporting to be," she said.
Britt is due back in court Aug. 2.
If he's guilty I second the sentiment. But I would like to suggest that the castration occur in the style of Poe's pendulum... by razor - a milimeter at a time.

She was 14--that's a child, or at least it used to be.

I thought abortion clinics were Sanctuary for rapists and murderers anyway.

If he is to be castrated, so should other abortionists who do this all the time.
In Indiana, one abortionist (before he was caught), had a screening question for underage girls and for married women.
The one for underage girls was do your parents know you are here with a second part being do you parents know you are pregnant.
For married women (for those who may have cheated on their husbands and got pregnant), the question was does your husband know you are here and also does your husband know you are pregnant.
The receptionist who gave out this questionaire never understood why they were on there, and always wondered why the underage girls and married women had such a look of betrayal and anger when they came out from the abortion.
It is not uncommon for abortionists to molest/sexually assault women.
So why should one be upset that the owner of a modeling agency is doing the same thing, and is also associated with the abortion clinic.
Did you miss where that 14 year old child was pregnant and wanted to kill her baby rather than risk some stretch marks...

Combine that with a concealed video camera, and you have the ability to blackmail the girl into sex with little fear that she'll complain to the cops

What? - i'm quite skeptical of a pregnant model going to a photographer for an abortion, given that she could pretty much get one anywhere, and many of these models are quite predatory in their own sense.
Of course I'm not speaking to the truth of anyone, just saying that I have doubts at this time.
Don't ever leave your daughter alone around those people.
There is no difference between a modelling agent and a pimp.
