Prayers that Nicholas' pain will be taken from him, his suffering will be alleviated and that his body and mind will be healed. Since Nicholas' pain medication has been removed, I am thinking that the dear child will be having a very tough go of it. My prayers that his suffering is alleviated.

One small consolation here is that someone his age stands a much better chance of recovering fully from the broken bones than an adult would.
