That is a good question. It has to be George W and Karl Rove strategery, and I think it means He is putting her face on Prime time so Dems like the fat old sot Kennedy cannot mess with her.

Judge Saul is a FLA Judge who ruled against Gore in 2000.

It was his ruling that SCOTUS reinstated foiling the 'rats.

He's forcing the three big nets to give him prime time by NOT asking for it..

According to the article I read on the nomination, FDR did it to get back at the Senate for rejecting the court-packing plan. Black was not popular at all with Southern Senators; in fact, they hated the pick. Even papers that supported the President and the New Deal excoriated the pick because Black had no real judicial experience and he was known to be extremely partisan. FDR wanted an activist on the Court; he knew Black would be such an activist; he also knew that the Southern Senators would never vote against a fellow Senator from the Deep South (Alabama).

Partly because of this strategery, I think that if the President can't get a Conservative approved as a replacement for Stevens or Ginsberg due to a filibuster then he should nominate Jeff Sessions. That would effectively nuke the Senate by forcing the 'Rat Senators to choose between alienating their base or causing a complete meltdown of comity and cooperation.

I want to see the media's jaws drop when 43 calls a prime time press conference to re-nominate Bork.

I heard her former boss on some show yesterday--Sean's maybe? He said that she had never been particularly political. Maybe she got that way after she married Joe Wilson.

At 9 P.M. GWB nominates a member of the Federalist Society for SCOTUS.

Right on.

BTW, why are there no flashing lights on this thread yet?

Actually, Associate Justice Ann Coulter sounds better...

It's not going to happen, but if it did it would be fun to watch the reactions of the 'rats and RINOs. It would probably cause several heart attacks, strokes and/or seizures.

>> I just caught the end of a Fox News report and they mentioned the name "Emily"!!!! <<

Could they have daid, "Emile," (Eh-meel, or Eh-meel-uh) as in Emile Garza?

I also have strange flashbacks of "Deep Impact": They were wondering who this "Emily" woman was that the White House had been buzzing about, when a cabinet member resigned in a hurry. It turned out that they had been referring to MLE: "Mass Life Extinction."

I think we're about to be thrown under the bus...."

Man, that's depressing if true. Lindsey Light Loafers if from South Carolina. Looking for buses....
