Britain should start "changing its foreign policy" by ejecting all the treasonous Muslims quoted in this article.

If these “underlying causes” in fact affect and engender disenchantment and feelings of disenfranchisement in the Muslim community as a whole – which was the point being made – and addressing these “underlying conditions” is the “answer” to terrorism, are these people not thereby stating that terrorism is not a function of an extremist minority but is a legitimate reaction of the Muslim community as a whole?

Terrific point! In defending the indefensible they must rely on faulty reasoning.

They hate the West. Why are they here ?

ArrogantBustard and Mister Da have given exceptionally accurate answers to your question.

Dr Azzam Tamimi, from the Muslim Association of Britain, said the country was in real danger and that this would continue so long as British forces remained in Iraq.

It will continue even if British forces leave Iraq for the reasons in the following article.

There cannot be a meeting of the minds until the word "injustices" is defined by each group. Then the Brits will know that the aliens in their midst intend to alienate no matter what the "host" nation believes.

Senior Muslims have warned the Government that it needed to revise British foreign policy if it wants to put an end to the violence.

I sincerely hope they keep this kind of talk up. It's what they believe, including the moderates. Let the world know.

Please allow the plainclothes officers to escort you aboard.

Have a nice trip!

I think a public debate about Iraq in the UK is now inevitable. Mr Blair must convince the public that the sacrifices are worth it and that his judgement is sound.

Someone should ask why Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Syria, and Iran weren't on the list of target countries. We tried to cut one of the Hydra's heads off and then we stopped there.

I think a major component of the strategy was to take the Axis of Evil's sense of confidence down a notch. That happened, but while jihad may be financed by the Evil Axis and its western sympathizers, jihad is independent. We swatted cockroaches on the table, but they're scurrying back under the fridge.

The problem is that if you try to hold ground, that eats up lots of troops and resources. I prefer the British way, make the most of very limited resources by being smart and nasty.

we need to look at ways of addressing the underlying factors that created it. I feel it's urgent to start addressing these

Right. The Brits need to rebuild this.

Hmmm.... changing foreign policy to topping Moslems would probably be rather popular with many people.
