Not sure where you live, but I went in to a Texas store recently at which I rarely shop, and they had all the detergent, toilet paper, etc., product brands that aren't what you & I see everyday. They ARE what I see once a year when I shop at the store next to our favorite Mexican resort. It certainly gave me pause when I saw all those products here.

We have the same situation here in southern California, mostly at "99 cent stores" and similar establishments. It's hard to find an English speaking person who works at those stores. I don't bother going to them anymore.

I imagine the detergent is that overly-perfumed crap in plastic bags that leak their contents
