Here's some of her bio from there. It's pretty funny:

"COLEEN ROWLEY

In 1990 she received an "Office of Preference" transfer to Minneapolis where she assumed the duties of Principal Legal Advisor (now known as "Chief Division Counsel") which entailed oversight of the Freedom of Information, Forfeiture, Victim-Witness and the Community Outreach Programs...

[In other words, they gave her the most obnoxious jobs they could find. "Community Outreach" LOL.]

In April, 2003, following an unsuccessful and highly criticized attempt to warn the Director and other administration officials about the dangers of launching the war in Iraq, Rowley "stepped down" from this (GS-14) legal position to go back to being a (GS-13)

[LOL She got demoted--from some mid-level position, to an even lower one. Doesn't happen often. She must've really screwed the pooch. And what exactly in her Community Reach background made her an expert on the dangers of going to war with Iraq?]

She has also begun to speak publicly on the topic of ethics and ethical decision-making to various groups, ranging from school children and business people to lawyers.

[I'll bet she has. And how noble of her. But again, where'd she get such knowledge? Divine revelation?]

Even without the Sedition Act, I suspect these guys have broken enough laws to keep a number of prosecutors busy.

Yes, I think so too. And I wish that they would be prosecuted, ASAP, but I'm not going to hold my breathe.

They must have nightmares about the terrorist going too far, though.

Think about it. A dirty bomb or worse goes off in NYC, and the country finally realizes how damn serious this is?

These will be the first people strung up. (Like the bund members in WWII. In fact, the comparison is exact.)

Yes, I agree.

And I hope that they have such horrendous nightmares, that they never get enough sleep...until they go to their eternal rest.

I think Ellsberg was emboldened by skating on his earlier infractions. What he's messing with here is a whole new ballgame though.

He is in essense working within a group to urge current government employees to ignore their top level security clearances, to commit crimes.

If this isn't a conspiracy, or at the very least subverion, I'd be surprised.

Ellsberg is an attorney, but he sure seems out on the tip of a limb as far as I am concerned.

Good points. I always laugh when I hear democrats talking about how republicans are so ideological, when they are creatures of ideology. In their view, republicans are evil, so whatever sins they commit are insignificant when it comes to fighting evil. They really are hilarious in their very obvious heroic posing for each other; they see themselves as warriors in battle. They spout the cliches about freedom and truth, but they are completely uncaring about the lies they use which can only hurt the nation.

They clearly know they are encouraging people to commit crimes, or they wouldn't be stressing the pro bono ACLU work so much.

By the way, it's noted in their press releases that this ACLU offer covers both Ellsberg's operation and McGovern's VIPS.

But you are absolutely right. They encouraging people to break the law. I'm sure it is illegal in a number of ways.

But as I've said, they will probably be ignored until something God awful happens. Then they will be squashed like the cockroaches they are.

She's sounded rather moonbatty lately, but we and this country should never forget the unknown and incalcuable losses that LAX was spared as a result of her pinpoint accurate instincts. She is a hero for this event, and she was not treated appropriately by the agency. Sad, but her good skils and future contributions were probably wrecked by shabby treatment.

Is she not the one who got the terrorist coming in at the Canada/US border to bomb LAX? I may be all wet .. she may be the one who was nagging her superiors about Moussaoui's activities and the FBI rebuffed and ignored her .. and treated her shabbily. I'm SO sorry if I got them confused. I have the right outcome with wrong event .. LOL. It is Moussaoui.. the more I think of it. (I shoulda gone to sleep hours ago.)

I think she was a sharp and dedicated govt. employee who was disheartened by the lack of respect she received and the way her instincts and gut feeling were ignored, and she turned bitter.

I remember being stunned at Mueller's actions .. but that was the 9/10 mindset.

Very interestingly, I'm a subscriber to one of the largest Danish newspaper "Politiken,s" Weekly edition since many years back. I read them all from the front page though to the back page. I keep abreast what's going on in my former home country, but I have never seen this case or the name of Mr. Grevil mentioned in one of the largest Danish newspaper, I can't believe it. It's the first time I have learned about through these RATS traitors!!!

These yahoos like Ellsberg really long for the good old days of the 60's, don't they? They should be happy for the Iraq war, they get to act like kids again.

Please give a link connecting Rowley to the "millenium LAX bomber".

My memory of that event is that the entire country was on alert for a technology meltdown....not terrorists.
An alert female Customs Agent on the US/Vancouver border crossing was suspicious of the bomber guy because of his nervousness and searched the car, uncovering the explosives, etc. The entire Clinton administration jumped in to claim credit that their supercalifragilisticexpealidocious anti terror policy was the sole reason for this capture! They have been claiming that ever since.

That was an alert female customs officer at the border. I do remember someone who warned the FBI concerning 9-11 plots/ activities and was ignored. Can't remember the name. Could be this lady.
