Ever since OIF 1 when the 3rd ID "oficially" entered Baghdad, Tankers & Infantry were tossing out candies, MRE's & water bottles to the poor residents of the city who turned out to greet them.

[they eventually were orered to halt for fear of the vehicles running over someone trying to retrieve said thrown objects in the street.]

That alone is proof that Iraq would from that moment, Forever be free and Never again be ruled by Saddamites.
