ALEC is a fine organization, and I have participated in most of its Annual Meetings in its 33 years. (I saw the first President Bush appear at its Meeting in Colorado Springs, when he was running for reelection.

ALEC does excellent work in research state by state on such critical issues as performance in public education. I recommend it, its work, and its staff to all Freepers. Take a look-see at its website.
