And not only is there someone on our side who has all those things over Soros, but he has something that Soros doesn't have: Kovner has backed a winner in the Bush admin. Not just once, but twice.
Actually, Kovner reminds me somewhat of Rupert Murdoch: A behind-the-scenes operator who mainly funds conservative projects, although he doesn't seem to mind helping out the smelly lefties on other projects. Kovner backs Julliard, which has a lefty administration, while Murdoch owns the left-leaning hollywood-based Fox studios and its broadcast network.

Thanks. So many in the MSM and elsewhere wax lyrical about Soros's brilliance and investment prowess, but Kovner appears to be even more brilliant and more successful as an investor than Soros (not to mention far more successful as a patron of political entities, causes and candidates). Nice to see that palindromic putz, Soros, one-upped.
