What a laugh. They see nothing wrong with teaching THEORY as FACT. What is undermined there? Scientific integrity, thats what.

The Evolution THEORY is just that, stop teaching it as rote fact and I do not have near the problem with it.

They teach music as THEORY too. You gonna claim that music may not exist.

Your problem is you either don't know what a scientific theory is. Or you've been told, but you've ignored it.

It's probably the latter. Creationists are remarkably impervious to information.

Exactly, they are requiring that the theory be taken as fact, and that can only be done through "faith" in the theory. If "faith" is the foundation for sustaining the theory, then it is a religion in itself, the religion of evolutionism. Why is this new religion more acceptable in academia than any other religion?

If that's the level of your understanding of the scientific meaning of the word "theory," then I can certainly understand your confusion.

You're confusing common useage with the different meaning when used in a scientific context. Don't feel bad, this is a very common error.

The Evolution THEORY is just that,

The problem is that many creationists want to dishonestly misrepresent the significance of a "THEORY" in science.

Gravity THEORY is just that. Atomic THEORY is just that. Electromagnetic THEORY is just that, but for some reason those THEORIES, taught as FACT, are not assaulted by the religious. Just evolution.

You obviously have a valid point. I noticed some replies that appear to suggest that theory equals fact. They seem incredulous that you don't buy into that interpretation. I don't know what these people have been told, but it looks like they were fed updated (false) definitions of the words "theory" and "fact." They have been so completely indoctrinated that they actually think anyone who doesn't accept these lies is a moron. It's sad really. I wonder if they were ever given a definition for "hypothesis." If so, I'd be curious to know what they were told about that. I'll bet you .50¢ they think that also means fact.
