This is a different Fitzgerald not the ex-Senator thus anyone making such comments is an idiot. Exactly. I couldn't believe what I was reading.

You do know that the special prosecutor is the nephew of Teddy and John Fitzgerald Kennedy, don't you?

It seems the LibDems are fearful of what Fitzpatrick will do to their allies. Rove is not acting like a guilty man. Wait 'til the SP nails a Dem operative or a member of the beloved MSM, and see who trashes who. It's gonna be fun.

Thanks. The Dems would love to get their "slimy" hands into the investigation to make certain the truth never came out.

I have repeatedly seen this angle on the liberal sites lately -- that the GOP is about to "slime" Fitzgerald. Does anyone know what the liberals are talking about?
Yes, the democrats are "about to slime" Fitzgerald!

The Liberal's LMSM, has lost its punch, LMSM has been caught in their own trap..."confidential sources trap"...they've been shown to being "nothing but shills", for the Liberals.

He and David Corn have an ongoing battle to be the most ferret-like commentator on TV. ..a real insult to Ferrets/Weasels.

Hmmm.... a very interesting speculation! Thank you so much for the insight!

No. It's not true.
The only people who will be sliming Fitzgerald are the Democrats once he indicts Wilson or Plame herself.
To: summer
This is one day after Bush said some nice things about Fitz. I think the Dems know which dirction this is is headed, and they want to attack what they fear Roberts' hearings would uncover.

Hell that makes more sense than a lot of crap you see here (generally posted by Bushwhackers.) It is nice to see they have gotten sooo stupid though.

I have heard his name before, but I really didn't know what he writes. You're probably better off not knowing what he writes, because you can't believe half of what he says or writes. His writings match his looks. He has small beady eyes that seem to roll around and are unable to focus (just like his mind) causing him to look retarded, and then he writes or opens his mouth and removes all doubt.

"I have repeatedly seen this angle on the liberal sites lately -- that the GOP is about to "slime" Fitzgerald. Does anyone know what the liberals are talking about?"
Most of the "Fitzgerald is out of control" comments have come from the liberal media in response to the jailing of Judith Miller. I've never seen anyone in the Bush administration make that charge. Just yesterday, Bush referred to Fitzgerald as "a fine lawyer." Conason must be having flashbacks to when HE and CLINTON were sliming Kenneth Starr.
To: summer
Will he be "slimed?" Probably, partisan "sliming" is really popular these days from both fronts. It always has been actually but we go through phases when it's worse than usual. We're going through a particularly "slimy" period in American politics now, reaching new levels of sophistication in slime attacks, but make no mistake about it, Democrats are hurling every bit as much slime as Republicans are and then hypocritically complaining about it. I'm of the mind though that pretty much all politicians are slimeballs so I don't pay attention to it anymore.

Liberals project on to us their techniques. It's what they'll do to Fitzgerald if he pins this on liberals in the CIA, MSM, or a former democrat appointee.

Funny when it was Ken Starr that was attacked viciously by the Clinton slander machine, it wasn't "slime" to the media but serious charges that needed to be looked into. Insightful.
