If you google "religion of peace", you get 260,000 hits.
Hey, typing is also a form of exercise. See that? I just burned two calories right there.
*Whew!* Feeling tired all of a sudden...
Meat was getting expensive but now it's cheap again !

Did someone say fluff? Not a recommended part of a low-carb diet, I'm thinking :)
Have you tried Power Bar PRIA?
There are 2g impact carbs in each bar. I get them at Costco. 18 to a pack for $19.99. That comes out to $1.11 per bar.
9 Peanut Butter Caramel Nut.
6 Caramel Nut Brownie
3 Cookies 'n Caramel.
Yum! Yum! Yum!
Or chocolate!
I have been trying to find a way to make a low carb mojito!

Cool! I had no idea I could make pooping part of my overall dieting strategy! :)
LOL--great point! The proverb actually comes from 1 Corinthians 9:25, which actually says, "every man that striveth for the mastery is moderate in all things." The word "moderate" there actually means "self-controlled". But "self-control in everything" doesn't sound nearly as appealing. :-0
I actually shave baking chocolate into my coffee (decaff). It is sinfully delicious!

Hmm, sounds a lot like Atkins....
Nonsense. How is cutting out sugar, starch and white flour bad for the body?
I know what people think of it but I lost close to 90 lbs on it and at 46 years old am now in the best shape I've been in since my early 20's.
The problem was, too many people didn't actually read the material.. they just started piling on the steak, bacon and low carb candybars & ice cream. Now THAT is bad for the body.
Yes, I have; and yes, they're not bad. Their PB is probably second-best, next to Atkins. The other two are flavorful, but chewier than I prefer.
My favorite thing is crunchy; in a bar, I like it to be flakier. I don't like hard and sticky. Atkins' PB is flaky (flakey?), and the S'mores is similar. Can't find that in another brand.

Our bodies have not yet adapted.
We were meat eaters for millions of years.
We still are.

I have argued with the Atkins sugarfree kool-aid drinkers for years concerning the Air Force diet rebadged Atkins Diet. It's simply not worth it to discuss how Dr. Atkins floated this diet in the late 1970's and it crashed like so many of his dieters eating a whole loaf of Italian bread with garlic sop. It's not worth the headache of telling them Doctor Carb was bloated and sickly when he mysteriously "fell to his death." No need to argue until you're blue in the face about the serious kidney problems awaiting all these fine people. And if they are religious, there's no need to bring up biblical principles of unbalanced heretics telling people not to enjoy foods created by God -- "touch not taste not, etc."
Save your breath. Be gentle when they crash. As for me, I think I'll have pizza today for lunch. MMMMMMMMMMMM PIZZA.
I make a coffee creamer with cocoa, splenda and carnation dry creamer - tastes quite a bit like regular chocolate creamer but without the sugar -
Pooping is a very important part of any dieting strategy. In fact, I cannot recommend it highly enough. You can never poop too much. (vomiting is also a way to expell calories, but I don't recommend that one unless you have a wife to clean up the overspray)
Sounds like you have some personal issues though.
"Because it was eliminating foods your body needs and causing chemical changes in your body."
Which foods are those? Sugar? High Fructose Corn Syrup maybe? How about Wonderbread?
If you think Atkins was about eliminating all fruits & veggies you are mistaken.
The problem is, many people mistake the failure of business side of Atkin's crappy low carb products with the diet itself. It's the business that failed. The diet works if done correctly.
