The "fact" that the Plaintiffs will "take this case to the Supreme Court" is not particularly important. The Supreme Court takes about 0.5% (that's one in 200) of the cases offered to it for review. Since election law is my narrow specialty, I've seen a lot of these cases. I don't think the Court will touch this case with an 11-foot barge pole. Which means the First Circuit decision will stand as rendered.
