Good morning TROOPS! The Canteen Goes On A Safari
Today takes us to the dark, damp, areas of the jungles and the hot, dry, desert plains. We will encounter all type of animal, and beast of the forest. Loud screeching birds, the chilling growl of the cougar, the roar of the lion, and the shreaking of the gorilla.

Sounds good, I don't even know how hot it was here today. I only go out when I have to take Piper, water the plants or go to the store.
All the nice patio furniture I bought this spring isn't getting used much, lol.

She's obviously been spending way too much time indoors posting music and getting herself all ready for Sailor's return home! Maybe the sun in Virginia doesn't put out enough rays! LOL!
I didn't remember to save that one! :o}

I thought we were going to get some rain this evening. We got clouds coming in from the Southeast--but Odessa just melted them away. *sigh* We sure need some--our water bill is like the national debt!
Yeah, I'll get used to it--just takes a while. It requires more reading the prompts than the old one. I think I get flustered because I feel that the customers are getting impatient with me. Oh, well.....

It's been really hot here. It hit 117 several times last week. Rain always freshens things up. Although, some folks in central, and Western parts of Phoenix got a lot of unwanted water.

I love Robert Bateman. I have collected him (paintings) for the past 25 years. If you get a chance to go to Jackson, Wyoming, go to the National Wildlife Art Museum on the outskirts of Jackson. There are many Bateman originals including "Chief" which he was commissioned to paint for the museum there. It is his largest painting. It is of a hugh Bison Bull. Check out some of his Art Books.

I've got major yard issues right now :o(
I guess this past Fall my oak trees dropped too many acorns that I didn't pick up well enough. I've got a small oak tree forest growing in my front yard, LOL! Watering only makes it grow faster!
Yard guy is coming in the morning to dig up my front yard.
I know you are being so sweet to those customers, and they'll be back!
