Persian Gulf (Aug. 02, 2005) - Airman Julian Dumont, and Airman Daniel Parker, both assigned to the “Black Ravens” of Electronic Warfare Squadron One Three Five (VAQ-135) wipe down an EA-6B Prowler on the flight deck aboard the nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68). The Nimitz Strike Group is currently on a regularly scheduled deployment and is participating in Maritime Security Operations (MSO). MSO set the conditions for security and stability in the maritime environment as well as complement the counter-terrorism and security efforts of regional nations.
