NY TIMES INVESTIGATES ADOPTION RECORDS OF SUPREME COURT NOMINEE'S CHILDREN

**Exclusive**

The DRUDGE REPORT has uncovered a plot in the NEW YORK TIMES' newsroom to look into the adoption of the children of Supreme Court Nominee John G. Roberts.

The TIMES has investigative reporter Glen Justice hot on the case to investigate adoption records of Judge Roberts’ two young children, Josie age 5 and Jack age 4, a top source reveals.

Judge Roberts and his wife Jane adopted the children when they each were infants.

Both children were adopted from Latin America.

A TIMES insider claims the look into the adoptions are part of the paper's "standard background check."

Roberts’ young son Jack delighted millions of Americans during his father’s Supreme Court nomination announcement ceremony when he wouldn’t stop dancing while the President and his father spoke to a national television audience.

Previously the WASHINGTON POST Style section had published a story criticizing the outfits Josie’s and Jack’s mother had them wear at the announcement ceremony.

One top Washington official with knowledge of the NEW YORK TIMES’ plans declared: “Trying to pry into the lives of the Roberts’ family like this is despicable. Children’s lives should be off limits. The TIMES is putting politics over fundamental decency.”

One top Republican official when told of the situation was incredulous. “This can’t possibly be true?”

Oh yes. Makes me laugh because the libs are the ones who lecture conservatives about race 24-7.

One prints outrageous fabrications, celebrity gossip and personal matters of no legitimate concern to the public and the other is sold in Supermarket checkout lanes.

Bwhahahaha!!! Actually, the Enquirer has a much better record of accurate reporting than the Slimes. They broke the Gary Hart story (remember the "Monkey Business" photo) they broke the Gennifer Flowers story when no other MSM would touch it, they were right about Rush's drug problems. I'd trust the Enquirer over the Slimes any day.

What was wrong with the clothes, I thought they were such great outfits

I did too. It was extremely refreshing they were not dressed punk-ish (is that still what they call it?) or too casually. Someone in the media called it "retro." Nothing is wrong with RETRO!

In Chile, their national hero is Bernardo O'Higgins. Chile is very European with much of their population being very light in color.

don't the kids look more Northern European than Latin? They don't look Hispanic or Indian, and I don't think blond hair is frequent even among the white upper class to our South.

I can't believe that there are no "European types" living anywhere in Latin America, plus, ans I remember there are Castillian Spaniards who often are blond.

What a crock!!

Maybe the kids don't look Latin enough?

Where was Bill Clinton 4 years + 9 months ago and 5 years + 9 months ago?

Washington Post -- their writers are a bunch of pussbags!

They write crap like this all the time:
-- the children's clothing?
-- about how much vacation President Bush takes,
-- how hard Clinton works and he didn't take vacations (no he just visited umpteen countries at taxpayer expense and wrote his vacations off
-- etc.

Call and ask if this is the New York's leading trash tabloid and it they intend to beat the National Inquirer for ridiculous stories.

The amazing thing is that I bet the Slimes thinks this will actually work and scare Roberts into withdrawing his name. WTF do these people think they are, Tony Soprano? The sheer arrogance and sense of self-importance here is just incredible. No wonder these people are so clueless.

No, they want to prove that the adoptions were illegal.

Just got here and haven't read the whole thread---

Has the guy that was running for the Senate in Illinois mentioned, re: the Chicago newspaper getting SEALED divorce papers dug up to ruin HIS political career?

That is exactly what this is...except worse, because kids should be off limits totally!!!!!
