They're trying to find out 1) how they adopted 2 white children and 2) how they adopted 2 white children from Latin America.

I think the angle they're looking at is whether Roberts pulled any strings to make the adoption happen, or got any kind of prefential treatment due to his status as a judge. It really is disgusting.

I think you and a couple of others have hit on it; they're going to play the race card, i.e., "Why - of all the kids in South America - did you adopt two WHITE kids? Is there something wrong with children of color? Do you think there should be racial restrictions on adoption?" etc etc And others have pointed out they might even try to play the Nazi card if these kids turn out to be of recent European ancestry.

I suppose that many are so ignorant enough to think that only those with Spanish and Indian blood populate South America.
Some how they forget about the millions of Germans, Italians, and other Europeans who settled over the years in South America.
Using Mexico as a comparison for South America will get many in trouble every time.

There are mostly whites in Argentina (97%), Chile (94%) and Brazil (55%). Even Bolivia is 15% white. Compare this to Mexico, which is only 9% white.
