Chris Matthews is an anti-war propogandist. He should get a time slot on Al Jazeera.

He'd have more viewers.

Sure looks more like a march by GLAD, sorry for her loss.
She shames his memory, most likely he would feel the same way.

I would have guessed Soros, but I read here this last week, that the political group he was funding went under....

I saw on the local news that most of the people with her, look like old Viet Vets that probably protested with John Kerry...maybe through some Viet affiliated anti-war group...

I will try to find out...

The president of 'Gold Star Families for Peace' Cindy Sheehan (R) of Vacaville, California, and a mother who lost her son U.S. Army Specialist Casey Austin Sheehan in Iraq, discussed her intention to demand that U.S. President Bush meet her at his central Texas ranch in Crawford August 6, 2005. About 70 anti-war protesters marched towards Bush's ranch on Saturday shouting 'bring the troops home now' from Iraq, led by Sheehan whose son was killed in combat in Baghdad. I wonder. Wasn't the VVAW in part a communist front group? Whether it was or not is not the point, though.

Kristinn's point is well taken,in that these groups, large or small, organized and funded or not, should not go unchallenged.

When I returned from Vietnam in '69 the anti-war crowd had the stage, our troops were pariah to almost all but family and friends. The MSM controlled the news.

This is no longer the case, and Thank God for that!

As kristinn makes clear, those of us who honor our troops and the president's efforts must counter the leftists of today. They can never be allowed the luxury of being the dominant voice.

Media reports on the protest...

This is the MSM in action. A small protest of 70 people gets world wide coverage. A counter protest of 70 people in any other venue gets nothing. Who are America's worst enemies: AP, Rueters & OBL.

This time around, they are being led, coached, and funded by groups that are allied with enemies of the US. Vietnam era protests weren't as well orchestrated by that kind of organization, I don't think.

You're right. The 60s people were motivated by cowardly self-interest.

They didn't want to do their manly duty.

I think that's when the queer thing got started.

I along with most here support our fight in Iraq. I would support it even more if we removed the PC BULL--IT and made the Sunni Triangle resemble Dresden after the fire bombing.

Just f--king flatten it.

The Tancredo alternative. Might be necessary some day.

Guess what I just saw?

CNN just had a lengthy report on Cindy Sheehan and the anti-America protesters in Crawford, TX.

Imagine that.

CNN just did a glowing report on the protest.

Miss Marple, your intuition was almost correct. They reported that two high level Bush aides met privately with Cindy Sheehan for about 40 minutes. However, she's vowed to stay in Crawford.

Guess what I just saw...the Newswatch Gang on Fox, ALL said that things are going horribly in Iraq, and that the MSM ISN'T GETTING THE STORY OUT, THAT IT IS SO BAD...

Yeppers, even Cal Thomas the one so-called conservative said that he is beginning to agree that the President and the MSM aren't telling the TRUE story of how badly we are doing in Iraq....

sigh...

They better watch where they march on those roads around Crawford. Trucks really zip along those roads and you never can tell what's on the road ahead when you go over a hill. Of course if a trucker knew that there were 70 antiwar protesters ahead.... (I drove to Crawford last time I was back home - definitely a very typical tiny Texas town).

Oh, I forgot---

that little pipsqueak commie, Neal Gabler, asked, "what the heck were the Marines doing in the wild, wild west of Iraq, anyway--they had no reason to be there!" AND...the panel agreed with HIM>...

Since when to TV commentators so blatantly question war plans...??????

ABC News did a short story on the protest. CBS News did a longer piece and tied it in with the administration's fumbling around last month on what to call the war we are engaged in.

You're kidding?

She actually was allowed to meet with a POTUS advisor for 40 minutes...and not good enough? I wish I was being totally sarcastic...

This woman is NEVER going to get Pres. Bush apologizing and admitting he "killed" her son....and, I dare say, she doesn't really want that...her publicity would dry up!
