Pirro should run against Hillary in the Democrat primary. Why not? It would be one ethically challenged liberal against another more famous ethically challenged liberal.

Who cares? At least she isn't offensive to the eyes, nose and ears as Hillary is...

Pirro does not equal Hillary. Therefore, I'm rooting for her!

Heck, it's just like in 2000. Rick Lazio ain't normally my kind of politician, but I drove five hours each way to help out his campaign one Saturday.

There are issues here larger than this. And I know many will accuse of "selling out" should you support Pirro over Hillary but there is a fact overlooked by many. It is a direction to move towards in this pathetic state where politicians are ALL liberal for the most part. I know of some who are truly conservatives and serve the causes of the right much better,. While Pirro may not do this in full she will do so in part , and in the mean time whether she wins or loses she will take a lot of energy out of Hillary and her campaign coffiers.

I want Hillary defeated so she is finished. She may still run for Prez, but the baggage of having lost or even barely won her own state will hurt her.

If a Hillary clone, who will caucus with the GOP, is what it takes to defeat Hillary in New York and hopefully derail her Presidential aspirations, then I'm all for her! Hell, I'd be thrilled if a Democrat could take her out in a Senate Primary.

The idea is not that we support Pirro, but that we are trying to stop Hillary in her tracks. A defeat in a Senatorial race in NY, unlikely as it is, would stop her Presidential ambitions. Pirro herself is only a means to an end. We either stop the beast now, or let her mutate on to the national stage. In any event, the odds of Hitlery losing in NY are minuscule.

Dear stuckinNY-NJ

If you think that Mrs. Pirro represents a significant threat to win the White House in 2008, and bring along Bill Clinton for the ride, then I agree with you.

Look we're talking NY not South Carolina.

And she'd still be head and shoulders over Illary.

Pirro oozes charisma.....why is it that the moderate republicans are far more charismatic than the ideologues?

The Hildabeast must be defeated even by a liberal, if that's what it takes, because of the threat she poses to becoming President.

Whatever, whoever it takes, even someone to the left of her if necessary. This isn't very complicated.

Pirro can be Hillary. Spencer cannot.

If the Senator from New York is going to be Pro-Abortion, why not have Pirro instead of Hillary. Perhaps after 6 years of Pirro New Yorkers will be ready for a real republican.

This press release is surely designed for no other purpose than to divide repubs or at least keep them home for Pierro and promote Hillary for the Pres. (beyond this Senate race).
Pierro never tried to socialize much of the US economy--Hilliary did. I would rather see Sharpton replace Hillary as NY Senator than see Hillary anointed in a Senate reelction and automoatically set up to be Pres. in '08. and Pierro is no Sharpton when it come to duffus-agenda politics.

I guess you don't understand the brilliance of a strategy that would defeat one evil and replace her with an exact copy.

We'd still have a monster in the office but that monster would be wearing our team colors and would meet no resistance from our team when she drove through her horrific Anti-American agenda.

You see, it's brilliant!

Pirro even has a convicted felon husband to throw into the mix. On the downside, that puts her one up on the beast.

“How the hell are you a Republican?”

Hey! Lighten up Geraldine.

It's just part of the "dimes worth of difference" program.

BTW, Pirro's just getting all of the media attention (from across the spectrum) because her primary opponent is the son-in-law of the hated Dick Nixon.
