Not here in Michigan, it takes about 10 minutes and the price is changed, with Speedway leading the group.

$2.50 here in Minneapolis. I can just imagine what the price must be like in NYC and L.A.

It's even worse around Gaylord-TC area, kinda monopolized by a couple of suppliers.

Any spike in the price of crude shows up at the pump in 24 hours (such as following the death of King Faisal!). It's only down that takes a while.

It's almost $2.50 here in Georgia and we are one of the lower end of the states. It's starting to p*ss me off actually.

$2.59 this morning in rural Indiana. This combined with $300-$400 a month natural gas this winter is going to sink us here. Most aren't too well off to begin with in my area.

All the Arab and Muslim (sorry to racial and religiously profile, but,.....) gas station and "convenience store" owners must have CNBC on the TV during the day and the prices change before the end of the news. Wait till they get those electronic price signs and can program the pumps second by second. The price will change before you finish filling your tank. The price will change gallon by gallon.
Pardon my cynicism, but I think much of the price of oil is controlled by the news media "pundits" and emotional hysteria and is unrelated to the market realities.

Build more damn refineries. Print fewer damn dollars. It's the price of crude that's going up, and that drives up the cost of refined fuels.

I wonder how long it will take before the obligatory "Yeah, but ketchup costs $10/gallon!!" stupidity posts show up, reminding us that we're all actually getting a great deal at the pumps and that we should shut up & take it?

Oh just great..now FOX is reporting that we may be a Nation "running out of gas". Neil Cavoto says there MAY be a gasoline shortage.
Well, with that kind of talk, there is sure to be.

We drive to the local Indian reservation and buy our gas for about a dime less per gallon.
Then we stop at the casino and blow the savings in the nickle slots. :-)

I hate to pile on here but the price of a gallon of gas has to go up to $3.81 a gallon to be the equivalent of what it cost back in 1980. Of course thats factoring in the cost of living.

Wow that is pretty high, higher than I would expect. Here in "special gas mixture" California, I paid $2.69 last night at a Shell station.

These guys are on the cutting edge of hindsight. I haven't seen 2.10 in a year They're probably ignoring the cost of the taxes added to the base price of gas.
