The Neocon idea of global democracy would make the region more stable. IMO, that's a pipe dream. I just don't think there's any historical precedent for Arab muslim states to adapt to Western democratic principles. Rule of law, individual rights, and secular governments.
And behind closed doors, I'd be willing to bet Bush, Rove, and the rest of the current brain trust agree. In other words, if Bush had to do it all over again, he wouldn't have invaded Iraq.
Sounds like she's trying to downplay the threat of terrorism and that of communism during the Cold War.
More of her true agenda for all of this is really coming to light as she discusses how Bush "stole the election" in 2000, etc.
Sponsors of international terrorism are of no concern for those who care about U.S. Security. < / sarcasm >
denial's in there, too. I'm not sure stages are quite that discreet.

Thank you Ms. Cleo and I didn't have to pay $4.95 per minute for your soothsaying.
BTW, nice try at whitewashing saddam, who was harboring terrorists, and had multitudes of prisons and torture chambers.
The same thing was said about Japan and South Korea. There's never "historical precedent" for things when they are first done - there was none here in the U.S. before it was formed. So, that's not exactly an argument.
So she is in league with the enemy. She's gone over completely to the dark side. Another anti American, Jew hating, far Left anti Semite creep.
Pleased to meet you, relative newbie.
Thinkin bout movin in and takin over?
Bill Kristol is not a fan of President Bush, and was not offered a job in the administration. He is not trusted by President Bush nor his father. I can document this with references in the attitude towards Kristol discussed in both Dan Quayle's book Standing Firm and in another book about the Bush 41 Administration.
IN addition, Vice President Cheney and Condi Rice and Donald Rumsfeld supported this war. Are you under the impression that they are Jewish, or have you just rounded up any Republican Jew you can think of and decided to accuse them of "pushing" for the Iraq war?
Do you think Rumsfeld was manipulated by Wolfowitz? What evil do you think he will be up to now that he heads the World Bank?
The use of neo-con is obviously a code word for Jews, and you have revealed yourself as being one of those types who likes to blame Jews for everything.
I will pay no further attention to you.
I also note that you have only been here since May.
> So why was it so urgent that we invade Iraq in March 2003?
> Why are 1579 brave young Americans dead? Why is my son dead? Why are tens of
> thousands of Iraqis dead? (50 more today in 17 coordinated car bombings).
> Could my son be dead because of an evil-neo con Pax Americana agenda?
> Wake up dude. This government has always been in the business of killing
> people. What is even better is if we kill people who are a different color or
> not Christian.
> We began the killing as soon as we stepped foot on these shores and the
> killing has gone on unabated for over 200 years.
> There has always been excuses for wars, but NONE of them have been good or
> valid.
> I hope you feel safer or better because of all the needless killings in Iraq,
> because I sure as heck don't.
> Peace in our time,
> Cindy Sheehan
So no war has ever been justified, Cindy?
No wonder she signs off with "peace in our time" ala Neville Chamberlain.
"Neocon" is a code word for "#!(#!& Jew" - the moment one of the moonbats utters it, I have seen through their thin veneer. If we are serious about "never again" then we need to go after these creeps.
Japan and South Korea weren't muslim. Huge difference.
On one of those links I posted, Ms. Sheehan also states that she was supposed to have appeared on the Today show but that the show's crew never showed. Anyone know if Sheehan's ever appeared, or did Today decide to cancel Sheehan's appearance? The again, there's no guarantee that Sheehan's telling the truth about the show, so who knows?
"What the hell is a 'neo-con' anyway?"

According to what the UK seem to be putting into policy, she would be subject to treason prosecution. We need to seriously observe what happens in the UK - there is much to learn from their little experiment.
