Coverup was the obvious story when they put Gorelick on the commission. The MSM will NEVER run with that.
Yeah, so many people have no clue... I've mentioned how Gorelick should have been a witness (or 'suspect') in the hearings and that it was almost TOO strange she not only escaped EVER being pinned down on 'the wall' and her memo, but she ALSO somehow got to be one of the 'lucky' few on the panel. Curious...

And if the surviving family took the government payoff, they agreed not to hold the feds liable. The SOBs in DC KNEW that they could have prevented 9/11.

The most damnable admission: The administration was paralyzed because it couldn't afford to make a mistake after Waco.
I figured it out:
Carter created wall, so existed for a while and was just 'standing policy'
After Waco, of course PR Sensative Clinton Admin was SUPER touchy when dealing with military/civil relationships and had Gorelick send out the memo reinforcing 'the wall' with explicit language.
The memo, read by administration lawers, caused them to become oversensative to the matters, which in turn lead to failure in inteligence sharing, which we now call 'connecting the dots' -- the CURRENT general cause of blame for 9-11. Even though the lawers forbid the sharing of intel, the pentagon still could still notify the president, possbily discussed 'in the margins' of the intel reports Sandy Burger stole and shredded.
Additionally, Gorelick was given aid to become commissioner on the panel so as to minimize the other 'loose end' leading back to blaming the Clinton Policy.
I think I'm gonna have to pour me a stiff drink later tonight ...

Had a chance to ask folks in the office if they follow current events, world news etc., and across the board they said no. Out of curiosity I put this story in front of them and they were shocked. It goes to show how pathetic the people are monitoring critical events happening around them.
BTW, the 911 Commission should be jailed.

Excellant Ernest. It is interesting to see they are not going to let things rest. At least it appears the issues at hand are not going to go away. Clearly, at least to me I see why old slick Ben was on the committee. What the hell as others ask, would be the reason to have a slick willy lawyer involved in that 9/11 committee farse, but to keep a very carefull eye and ear on what was going down. And the damn Republicans let them pull off a public cover up. Interestingly a lot of the basic stuff was covered by Shawn and Rush way back when. So it is not like this is exactly new stuff. But I am glad you posted it. Perhaps we shall see more develop in the days to come. Now if this stuff continues and deepens, is this going to be pushed onto the current administration as being the ones at fault. After all 9/11 happened on their watch, at least in the eyes of the L/MSM in how they start doing their spin?
