My comment is that the Democrat Senator lied about the content of his discussion re: Terri, as did Durbin in his conversation with Roberts, as every Democrat Senator is doing in an exposed attempt to paint a portrait of a man that the right will split in support making defeat simplistic for them.

The Democratic Senator from Oregon is a liar.

I as well, separately, dismiss the derotaory statements against those that stood for Terri, including critisism leveled at Jeb Bush.

The answer to your first question is that it depends on what the state constitution provides, although I'd expect the answer to be universally no.

And the answer to the second question is completely dependent on what the laws the state legislature has passed.

"...they do not serve the people in time of need."
They do not serve the people at all, nor should they ever try to do so [we all saw "people's courts" in places like China, USSR, nazi Germany, etc]. Their oath of office is to serve the law and uphold the Constitution, which would be hard enough in itself.

Roberts. They will make him bark like a dog during this whole process. He should say very little and if they attack him personally he should say " thats the most dirty underhanded thing youve said. I take it you arent going to vote for me. Next."

And I dont even know if he's a good choice.

Other reporting on this supposed meeting indicates that everything the Dimwit is saying is a complete fabrication. I have my doubts about Roberts' conservative credentials but I'm not buying into this one...

Maybe this will be an eye-opener to some. To not buy this is to see that the Democrats and the MSM are trying to make Roberts appear liberal to his base.

Be wary...

Yes, let the record show that this attempt has been exposed.

They did ask for a de novo review. They were denied.

Yes, they did, long after they should have. They treated the District Court as an appellate court wasting valuable time as they argued the same issues they had lost in state court on.

By the time they finally got around to asking for a de novo review, Terri was already in organ failure and close to death.

Congress had the authority to create federal court jurisdiction in this case.

Terri Schiavo was murdered and what's really sickening if you think about it is that she had no way to defend herself. She was the part of the population that need to be protected. Her life had meaning and she cried when she found out the tube was coming out. My legs work and I could have kicked the sob's and made a run for it. She had no way out. Then every single body of our govt. boxed Terri in until she was dead on March 31, 2005.

There's an audio link and it's graphic and is not entertaining. BB, can you link Terri's audio to this thread at your convenience? Thanks, FV
