I doubt if the Communists want to be associated with the Dems.

No difference between the Republicans and the democrats?
There is no difference between the democrats and the socialists.

And as much fun as it is to call Democrats Communists, (I do it myself sometimes) there is a huge difference between Democratic Socialism (wich is what the left side of the Democratic Party practices) and Communism which advocates the elimination of private property. Property rights went out the window years ago. You can test this for yourself...skip a years worth of property taxes...or try taking yourself off the power grid...or remodel your home without getting the dozens of permits you "need".

The Democrats are not communists! Socialist, communist ... whatever.
A laser scalpel is required to separate their long term policy goals.
A communist would claim that the Democrats are far right
And their words are just as trustworthy as are those of a jihadist muslim.
Al-Taqiyah commie style.

"The Democrats are not communists! They are simply left- liberal. That's a whole world of difference. A communist would claim that the Democrats are far right"
Yeah, but there's are real comparison to be made between the USSR/Pravda and Democratic Party/MSM relationships.
The left-wingers in our country are about as fascist as it gets.
That's all the comparison I need.
Ultra-left Democrats are indeed communists.

I've said before and I'll say it again, theres really no major difference between the Republican party and the democrat party. At one time the Republicans stood strongly for our Constitutional representative Republic, but not more. All one hears coming out of the mouths of the so-called republicans today is our democracy this, and our democracy that...Concur...with the possible following exceptions:
* Democrans believe in larger government than Republicrats
* Republicrats believe in larger laws than Democrans
* Democrans are a lot like condoms that are purchased by budding juveniles in that they tend to spend a lot of time in a wallet.
* Republicrats tend to want to spend a lot of time in bedrooms in search of the reason the condom was purchased.

I know what you're saying, "absolute" property rights are gone.
But I am not going to say we are anywhere near the level of the old USSR.

Why not they already merged with the Republican party. Both love to increase spending, big government, and both believe that the people are to stupid to make decisions for themselves.

"VOTE LIBERTARIAN!"
I would say that voting Libertarian would split the narrow Republican lead, giving the DemoRats control. I support Libertatiran individuals taking over the Republican Party through election primarys, but we can't shoot ourselves in the foot by allowing the DemoRats to win elections because of "Constitution" or "Libertarian" party votes. We had Klinton for 8 years when he got less than 50% of votes. Remember Perot?
Reform the Republicans from within.

Have you failed to notice that liberals have great disdain for capitalism. Look at their constant berating of big business and the wealthy. I did a test amongst a few liberal friends, and the word "capitalism" elicits negative responses in and of itself.
Their socialist programs are only stepping stones to full on communism.
To: JusticeForAll76
Uh, have you heard of the latest Eminent Domain cases? Baby steps!
The only private property that liberals respect is their own, the rest of us should live in ultra-dense slums and work for passes to visit the protected wilderness.

Please don't assume I am a liberal, or that I am particulaly sympathetic to liberal causes, I am not.
I just feel the modern Democratic Party, of which I have little use, is a far cry from Communism.

That would make an ASS out of U and ME. I am just pointing to the dots that should be connected.
The Democrats try to put on a face more palatable than what they really are. Just take note of the outburst of Biden, Kennedy, Pelosi, Durbin, etc and you see a glimpse of their true beliefs. I argue that Democrat politicians are far left of what most people believe and farther left of most people they represent.

I just feel the modern Democratic Party, of which I have little use, is a far cry from Communism. I'm certainly willing to be enlightened on that point. Show me a substantive difference.
