The photo Cindy Sheehan did not want the world to see: President Bush plants a consoling kiss on the cheek of grieving antiwar protester Cindy Sheehan last year at Fort Lewis, Washington.
Mrs. Sheehan is staging a protest vigil in Crawford, Texas demanding a second meeting with President Bush to demand an explanation for why her son, Army Spc. Casey Sheehan, was killed in Iraq a year ago April.
The photo of the president consoling Mrs. Sheehan, and a companion photo from the meeting, used to be hosted on Mrs. Sheehan's tribute site to her son. The site, called Casey's Peace Page also contains information about Mrs. Sheehan's antiwar and anti-Bush activities.
However, the photos were removed some time ago, but the hosting page and captions were left there until this week when they were removed along with a copy of the now-controversial Vacaville Reporter article, after that article which contradicts Mrs. Sheehan's current account of her meeting with the president was publicized by the Drudge Report.
The images were found in Google's image cache by Freeper Hipaatwo.
:-)
Still no picture of sheehan next to her "in uniform" son.
Never together.
:-) Changing her mind assumes that she has one to change in the first place.
Some families rent out the family brain.
What she is doing to her son's honor and memory is despicable. No wonder she has alienated her family and friends..
FReep Mail :-)
Yes, we are. We are obsessed with truth.
My personal opinion. I believe she is feeling guilty for her sons death. If he joined the military to get away from a controlling mother, she knows it but won't or can't admit it. Unable to accept that she may have contributed in some way his death, even in the slightest way, she is projecting her guilt onto Bush. It's safer, mentally for her to see someone else as a factor in his death...rather than his own mother...herself.
IMHO.
Algore's "invention" has proven to be the demorats worst nightmare i.e.-Rathergate and now this.
Great work!
Cindy Sheehan is NOT a politician.
She was a rabid anti-war/anti-Bush DEM before he son was killed. She even nagged and begged him to run away to Canada, after he re-upped.
She is now using and abusing the memory of her dead son to further her agenda, which is to have President Bush impeached and to force him get us out of Iraq and Afghanistan.
Soros, Michael Moore, the Tides Foundation ( Terry Kerry's money/foundation ), and Code Pink are funding her.
She has three living children, whom she is ignoring ( the youngest of whom has turned to alcohol and drugs, BTW ), so that she can be famous.
And you have the nerve to say that this doesn't matter, when the MSM is promoting her lies about her meeting with the president and using the lies she's spewing in an attempt to shred the president ?
Go back to sleep.
I just get the impression that you are just a bit nuts.
She also has said she was in shock when she met President Bush so can't be blamed for saying nice things about him....
Now she's a stalker and a tool of the whacko left....
A woman on CNN just pointed out that the phrase "Cindy Sheehan" brings more hits on google than the phrase "Wolf Blitzer."
The woman also pointed out that Liberal online webpages, like those run by Michael Moore, are pushing Sheehan's story.
Then stop reading the threads and posting about their obsessive behavior. I mean, who's more obsessed, these people, or you, who are posting repeatedly not about the subject matter, but about those who ARE interested in it?
Take that first step and just ignore those threads and leave all us "obsessed" people be. Not being able to do so is a pretty obvious admission of who, in fact, is the obsessed one. Because who's more obsessed, the one posting to these threads or the one who can't stop posting about those who are posting to these threads? ;)
Interesting words coming from a guy who is siding with an obsessed anti-American liar.....
We all feel SO guilty for caring about the truth. Thanks for pointing out how silly we are.
Now that is a good question. What if he was not in good standing with her and now she is carrying on to punish someone else for the loss of her son -- twice.
Of course the point is why would they want to take the photo and the old news story down... be cause their being dishonest in her story... the story being putting out was Bush was and indifferent bore during there meeting
I don't, nor have I presented this position.
Well, you did say " Maybe if you ignore her, she'll go away?"
Make up your mind, but either way, shut the door, the air conditioning's getting out.
The real crime is the media feeding off of an obvious distressed person for a political advantage. Shameless pandering. The woman has obvious taken leave of her senses. The MSM know exactly what they are doing.
I never suggested that you were wrong.
I just don't think this is a big deal.
Yes, yes, you made a very nice speech about dishonoring her son and all our service men and women.
This woman and her story are just not that important.
" A woman on CNN just pointed out that the phrase "Cindy Sheehan" brings more hits on google than the phrase "Wolf Blitzer."
I Googled Cindy " Itsallaboutmeeeeehan " and her picture appeared.
