Well, as one white boy who has done his share of manual farm labor, I can say this is a steaming load of fecal matter. Picking fruit or harvesting cotton is honest work. Calypso Louie, if Americans are "above" honest work then don't ask me to pay for their food or clothes.

Guess this idiot never made the rounds at some construction sites, personally I don't know many people that would pass up $12.00 + an hour. I don't blame blacks or anyone else for not wanting to pick fruit, or bale hay, I have done it. It is back breaking labor and you work for chump change. That was okay when I was a kid doing work for the summer.
The problem I see with this new immigration policy is that illegals won't be coming here soley to do farm work. They are working other jobs for contractors at minimum wage. Some of the contractors are doing government work. Also, under the new policy it says if the employer can not find an American to fill a job he can fill it with a foriegner.
Just how hard do you think these employers are going to look for an American when they know that can get and Indian, Pakistani or other immigrant to do it cheaper?
If they had to pay these immigrants the same wages and benefits as Americans would they be so hot to hire them. I doubt it.
Why would any supposed Christian church give this hater of the brethren a pulpit?
