Pray for President Bush

Heavenly Father,

We continue to bask in the joy of Your mighty answers to our prayers for the moving of Your hand in America. You have given us this great land filled with immeasurable treasures and resources, and we lift up our hearts in praise and thanksgiving unto You. Your mercies are new to us every morning. Yet to those to whom much as been given, much is expected. We ask, Father, that You instill in us the desire to please You for You have been so generous and gracious toward us. Help us to strive to bring Your Word to all people through Jesus Christ, Your Son, our Lord.

Father, please accept our humble thanks for the good works that You are performing in President Bush. We continue to rejoice in his leadership in helping to free the people of Iraq from their brutal dictator and their lives of enslavement to the terrorist government. Father, as they now finalize their new constitution, we celebrate this victory for humanity and for the love of one nation’s citizenry for another. May Your Holy Name be glorified in all that has taken place and in all that You are waiting to do. Thank You for instilling in our President the desire to do Your will regardless of the political consequences. Help him to continue to commit to You all that he does so that his plans will succeed. May he show that he is wise and understanding by living a good life and by doing all with a humbleness of heart and a spirit inclined to You. Help him always to be obedient to You; to return no one evil for evil; to love and respect his wife; and to seek to advance the cause of freedom. Please give him the mind of Christ, that he may be guided in all decisions that affect this nation and the world.

Thank You for the wonderful determination and bravery shown by the men and women who have enlisted in our military units. Lord, please continue to hide these precious patriots under the shadow of Your wings. Keep them safe from hidden dangers and let no weapons formed against them prosper. Grant them great success in all that has been assigned them, and may they return home to their loved ones soon. Reward them for their faithfulness in securing the Iraqi people and for aiding in the election process and the building of their government. May there be great rejoicing for the success You have brought them.

Guide us, Father, and let our words, our thoughts, our deeds be pleasing in Your sight. We love You and we thank You for hearing our prayers each day as we seek Your will to be done in America. Our prayer is always that Your Name be glorified through Jesus Christ, Amen.

We thank You, Heavenly Father for the most wonderful blessings You have given us. We understand some are not in our time frame but help us to understand that it will be in Yours.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for President Bush and all he means to so many of us. We pray for his safety, and that You would place a hedge of protection around him. We pray that he would have a peaceful and restful vacation. Bless all those who surround him.

Heavenly Father, we pray for our military, and the great nation they are protecting. We pray especially for all those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice. We ask special blessings on their families whatever their stand is on the war against terrorism.

We continue to ask blessings for our nation. We pray for a revival in this country and that all would be praying for peace. Bless all who come here to pray.

We ask these blessings in Your Son's Precious Name, Amen.

In agreement with my brothers and sisters in Christ, I pray that you would enlighten our President to Your law, so his soul can be restored; to Your testimony so that he can be wise; to Your precepts so that his heart can rejoice; to Your commandments so that his eyes can be enlightened; to the fear of the Lord, so he can be clean and endure forever; to Your judgments so that he can be righteous altogether. (Ps. 19:7-9) By them Your servant is warned and as he keeps them there is great reward (vs: 11)

Thank You, Holy Spirit, for your never ending work in all of us. We bless You in the name of Jesus.

I continually am blessed by your prayers for the military. I often send them to my son in Boot Camp. He is doing well and looking toward a October 7 graduation.
