Why would GW even think about talking to this woman AGAIN? She lied about her first visit - what's to keep her from doing it again?
This is purely political and got old the first day.

The camp also has an attorney specializing in First Amendment and civil rights cases and a public relations firm handling the numerous media calls for Sheehan.
LOL. I have camped out a lot and at most we may have had a realitor and a dentist. Along with 15 firearms and 3000 rounds of ammo. Never thought of loading up a lawyer and pr firm.

Sheehan and other grieving military families met with Bush in June 2004 at Fort Lewis, near Seattle. That was two months after her son's death and before reports surfaced about faulty pre-war intelligence, which enraged her. Anyone know if that is true? As I recall, the idea that "Bush lied" has been around a lot longer than a year.

She is being interviewed live on all the leftist networks as I sit here typing.
She says she will wait until August 31 for a chance to talk to Bush.
I hope she likes the heat in Texas and from Freepers.

Not "converse with" or "exchange views", but "talk to". Cindy Sheehan talks, President George W. Bush is supposed to listen only, without trying to explain his side at all. Then he is supposed to do exactly as she demands.
Dream no small dreams.
Actually she wants Bush to resign, or failing that, face impeachment. That is what all this is about, you know.
It worked against Nixon thirty-one years ago.

ALL OF US should politely make a request to SPEAK WITH HER.
Let's start a vigil for every person she ignores who wants a word with her... "Just 5 minutes, Cindy!"
To: kristinn
Anyone start referring to her as Saddam Cindy, in keeping with Tokyo Rose and Axis Sally?

CNN and Chrissy interviewed her AGAIN. Crissy kissed and fawned over her but the guy from cnn interviewed a hispanic woman who's son died in Iraq. It is incredable to me that people that were not born here understand what it means to be an American better than most of the people born here. This lady was AWESOME! It makes you believe that the next generation of Americans may be greatest generation yet!

Sheehan says it's all been a distraction from her quest in Crawford: a face-to-face meeting with Bush to ask for what noble cause her 24-year-old son Casey died, and to say that the only way to honor soldiers' sacrifices is to stop the war with Iraq. "Our message is to bring the troops home," Sheehan, of Vacaville, Calif., said Monday. "We're trying to get back to that original goal." He already met with her and she had positive things to say about that meeting. She knows it, her handlers know it, and the MSM knows it. The entire thing is a huge sham and a coriographed political play that she has been trained for for several months.
They feel they have an unassailable icon because she lost her son...but when she tramples on the service and sacrifice and coffin of that son, and uses it to attack this country, well, she loses that status with me and I believe with most Americans.
She is an anti-american, spiteful, and hateful person who is alienating everyone close to her for her new "friends" who will use her up and toss her to the side, spent and wasted...or (which is looking more and more probable) she will become one of them and be consigned to their own junk heap.

Beatriz Saldivar of Fort Worth said she joined the vigil "for all the soldiers who don't have a voice." Her nephew, Daniel Torres, was killed in Iraq last year, leaving behind an unborn daughter due next month. "What are we fighting for?" Saldivar said. "What are we doing there?" That just doesn't compute.....

A volunteer all the way; Casey enlisted, re-enlisted, volunteered for the mission that took his life and earned the Bronze Star trying to rescue fellow soldiers.
Casey Sheehan's actions in life are the antithesis of and a direct repudiation of Cindy Sheehan's views and actions!

An array of colorful banners "No Blood for Oil" and "Bush Lied; Casey Died" hang from a row of trees. Several portable toilets were brought in last week.Nice writing! It has a flow to it.

Since a grieving mother started camping out near President Bush's ranch 10 days ago...A guest on Michael Medved's show today, Phil Keever (sp?), an Iraq vet, met with Cindy, and is claiming that she isn't really camping. He says she is actually spending her nights at a local motel.
