Why did you include a picture from some National Geographic Special on the mating habits of manatees?

The question I have is: How could such a self-centered, leftist-agitprop-addled pointless twit of a women (who by the way called Bush the world's worst terrorist, apparently missing that whole 9/11 thingee - yet has the temerity to demand a second meeting with him) have spawned such a hero in Casey Sheehan...

Casey must have got the good genes from the other side of the family.

And btw, how come nobody has gone up to her and said ... "Look, Al-Sadr's goons killed your son, not the President. So, if you want answers, get your ass over to Iraq and camp outside al-Sadr's house for a month demanding explanations for why he decided to make his thugs attack Americans. ... and if your head doesnt come back in a wicker basket, then you can tell CNN how it went."

Phew ... rant off. But can you see it now? Cindy Shehaan stalking al-Sadr. Why isn't she doing that? Why isn't she going after the real killers of her son?

Get a load of this fawning "objective" look at Clinton's vacation:

Back from Vacation in Wyoming, Clinton Gets Ready for Campaign By Doyle McManus Los Angeles Times JACKSON, Wyo.

President Clinton wound up the longest vacation of his White House tenure on Wednesday, staving off his return to work one more day with two final rounds of golf and a last wistful look at the towering serenity of the Grand Teton mountains.

THE NOTORIOUSLY WORKAHOLIC PRESIDENT surprised some of his own aides this year by indulging wholeheartedly in his 17-day vacation and resisting all temptations to cut it short. In his first two years in office, Clinton never took as much as two weeks off in a row.

But the president's leisure - which included camping, horseback riding, white water rafting and an estimated 171 holes of golf - had a serious purpose, aides said: to recharge Clinton's batteries before he plunges into his 1996 re-election campaign.

Nice ankle tattoo.

She has Casey's birth and death years tattooed on her ankle.

I FEEL THAT MS. SHEEHAN NEEDS TO GO HOME AND FINISH GREEVING. THIS ACT OF SELFISHNESS IS OUT OF LINE. MY HUSBAND AND I HAVE BEEN IN THE MILITARY A TOTAL OF 7 YEARS, AND I REMEMBER SITTING IN JAPAN, WATCHING THE TOWERS FALL TO THE GROUND. I REMEMBER SEEING TERRIFIED FAMILY MEMBERS AS WE BOARDED OUR SHIP AND HEADED FOR THE GULF. I WAS THERE. SHE NEEDS TO PULL BACK AND THINK OF ALL THE INDIVIDUALS OVER THERE, FIGHTING FOR THE FREEDOM OF SPEACH SHE SO FREELY USES. MY HUSBAND AND HIS BAND OF BROTHERS WERE IN IRAQ FOR A YEAR. NOT ONE DAY WENT BY THAT I DIDNT PRAY TO GOD TO BRING HIM HOME, AND BLESS THE ONES THAT WERE LOST. I VOTED FOR PRESIDENT BUSH, BOTH TIMES! HE IS THE ONLY REASON I JOINED THE MILITARY MYSELF. I WILL STAND BEHIND HIM 110%. HAS SHEEHAN SERVED IN THE MILITARY? AND FOR THOSE WHO BELIEVE THIS IS ANOTHER VIETNAM- YOUR WRONG. I TOO BELIEVE VIETNAM SHOULDN'T HAVE HAPPENED, BUT DO YOU REALLY THINK WE SHOULNT HAVE GONE IN TO IRAQ? THAT IS THE MOST UNBELIEVABLE STATEMENT. DID THOSE PEOPLE NOT WATCH AND LISTEN AS OUR CITIZENS DIED DURING A HORRIFIC DEED? I AM DEEPLY SORRY SHE LOST HER SON, BUT DO REMEMBER MS. SHEEHAN, YOUR SON WAS HONORABLE AND WAS FIGHTING TO DEFEND YOU, AND YOU ARE WILLING TO LOSE EVERYTHING INCLUDING RESPECT OVER SOMETHING SELFISH AND SILLY. GOD REST YOUR BOY AND ALL THOSE WE HAVE LOST IN A FIGHT FOR OUR FREEDOM.

"Just like the KGB"

No, like anyone who stalks another individual, elected or not. And there is generally no requirement of threats or violence from the perpetrator in such cases.

This woman has nothing to do with her son and his legacy. They were at total opposite sides of the spectrum. She really hasn't ever grasped what her son cared about or who he really was. Even the family now distances themselves from her...she isn't even in the same world as most of them. They knew this young man's contribution in life...she still thinks that she is the sole source of his life. It is a tragic story...and she will likely find herself in a mental facility within a few weeks. Anyone can bring up mental competency in Texas, and recommend someone to be examined. The court may not like the issue, but they can be forced to act on her behalf.

She's abandoned her family, her marriage, her deceased son's memory, where she can establish her legacy. Now is her chance to go down in history as the woman who singlehandedly brought an end to the Iraqi war and brought down a president. She is so rabid in her pursuit of her "legacy" she'll sacrifice everything of real importance. It's all about her, the power she feels and how she thinks history will remember her.

A caller to Savage had a great idea: Get one of the 9/11 widows/orphans to camp outside Jamie Gorelick's house and say she's not gonna leave until Gorelick explains why her assinine policy killed her son/husband/father.

Also I seem to recall the Democratic Leadership Council meeting on islands such as Hilton Head in SC in the early 1990s. The tradition probably goes back to the Jekyll Island meeting to form the Federal Reserve if not earlier.

Right.

Renaissance Weekend.

Of course, since the Clintons never owned their own home, they LOVED going to really nice places at OUR expense.

And needless to say, the press loved Martha's Vineyard and the Hamptons.
