"One of the highest-ranking union officers in the state is given a half-million-dollar gift by a sitting U.S. senator. ...." Bet neither one was sitting when she earned the "gift".

And since he is a Dem, no Republican will dare call for any kind of investigation. That wouldn't be nice, and it might offend the Washington Post or NY Times editorial board, and we just can't have that, you know. That would be mean-spirited.
Funny how more Republicans will call for the head of a Republican Governor who failed to report some golf outings than a Democratic Senator who commits what could be a felony in the extremely unlikely event this ever sees the inside of a courtroom.

This is New Jersey.
The average voter is just relieved that it was a woman, at this point.

I'm skeptical that any Federal prosecutor will take Corzine on. I hope so, but I doubt it. No Republican Senator will, either.

I too refuse to believe there is corruption in New Jersey.
They bend over backwards to make sure there isn't even the slightest hint of impropriety.
Well, in McGreevey's case it was bending over forwards.
But still!!

LOL! I like the way they dig up their dead and run them for Senator! There is no peace in New Jersey. Not when you're needed by the *machine*.

I say that the U.S Senate should run him out of town on a rail.
This is ten times worse than Delay taking some trips with Ethics committee approval?
Hopefully Corzine loses the Gov election, and I hope his term is up in 06...so he get neither.
Come up of the deck Republicans in New Jersey!
