I kind of thought it was interesting how the Dispatch came to his defense when Glenn Beck came rolling in and demanding answers.
I'm glad to know that we have a free media so they can tell us what to think.

She was being interviewed by Mark Knoller, a White House Correspondent for CBS (See-BS) News. For some reason, he did not find this comment "newsworthy".
Those nutty comments can't be reported now, CNN's top story is Pat Robertson's comments about Hugo Chavez.

I sent a letter to the editor in response to this goofy dishonest rant..of course, they did not use my letter. In fact, today they have another letter to the editor from someone claiming that the loony-tunes in the ditch at Crawford are "patriotic"
Here is my letter:
Dear Editor:
Cindy Westling wrongly asserts that Fox News has labeled Cindy Sheehan as a communist. Like so many liberals, she has most likely repeated something written on a liberal blog, such as that great bastion of truth Moveon.org. No one at Fox News has EVER labeled Sheehan a communist. What they have done, is report what has actually come from her mouth, and who is supporting her.
For example, Sheehan claims that the war is being run be a secret Jewish cabal within the administration, a statement that brought her the support and praise of ex-KKK member David Duke. Sheehan has denied making the statement, although she is on video clearly speaking the words. Sheehan claims that President Bush is the most prolific mass murderer in history. She has accepted support from Code Pink, an organization that advocated aid to the terrorist in Fallujah.
Yet, Ms. Westling asserts that Cindy Sheehan is a "hero". Since when are people who make outrageous anti-Semitic loony conspiracy claims, and then lie about it, and are supported by those who offer aid to terrorist to be considered heroes in this country?
It seems to me that Ms. Westling has simply regurgitated leftist propaganda, and has just not done her homework. I suspect strongly that Ms. Westling does not know that Cindy Sheehan as ALREADY met with President Bush, and came away with glowing words of praise for him...oh, those pesky facts.
Fox News did not do what Ms. Westling claims, and Cindy Sheehan is no hero. It will most assuredly come as a shock to Ms. Westling, that there are a few other than Fox News (only a few) in the main stream media who also are reporting what Sheehan really is about. For example, Christopher Hitchens, a self proclaimed Socialist and a lefty, says of Sheehan:
"So as well as being an hysterical paranoid ideologist, or at least being manipulated by people who are, turned this into camp fruitbag and nutbag....she now says she didn't make a statement that she definitely did."
"I said that this woman is mouthing the most sinister piffle from Michael Moore and David Duke. She should be held responsible for what she thinks. When she was asked about it finally by Anderson Cooper yesterday, she said, I didn't say it. She is also a liar."
Cindy Sheehan a "hero". God help us INDEED !!!!!
